Naina was running and shouting Veer's name repeatedly. She had already searched every inch of the park for him. The other teachers were searching as well. She ran towards the picnic spot where all of them had been seated just a few minutes ago.
"Veer where are you baby? Please come back this so not funny!" Naina was screaming her lungs out, people were staring at her with a look of pity and some with irritated faces. She was moving her head frantically, she prayed continuously for the safety of Veer. It was almost 3pm, in another 2 hours the temperature will drop tremendously.
Naina was pulled into hard chest and was hit with a familiar smell of colonge. She knew right away that it was Viraj. Naina hugged him tightly and cried into his chest. "Shh Naina calm down! I have sent people to search for him. I'm sure he's fine. He's a strong boy." Naina pulled away from him, wiped her face.
"No you don't understand Viraj!!! How are you so cool about this? Veer is MISSING! You have no idea how long it had taken him to get over the previous incident. He's still scared. Now another incident, I hate this! He's barely 3 Viraj!" Naina sobbed, Viraj's heart clenched and he was quivering with rage. He promised himself that no matter what he would find Veer and god forbid if he finds even a tiny bruise on Veer he's going to tear those bastards limb by limb.
He tightened his hands around Naina's shoulders. "Naina listen to me! Nothing is going to happen to him! Get that into your head! He's going to be fine and I promise that. We'll take care of him after this. Do you understand?" Naina clenched her hands on his shirt and leaned against his chest nodding her head.
Viraj's phone started buzzing, he tightened his left hand around Naina and answered the phone. "Viraj we tried looking for him at everywhere around the park. I'm sorry to say this but I think we're a little late." Arjun told him cautiously.
Viraj let out a hiss and closed his eyes tightly. "Fuck! What do you suggest?" Neel was still scanning the nearby areas for any sort of clue but once again he came empty handed. "I think you know. We have to wait for the call that's all. If we try anything it might turn out to be fatal for Veer." Arjun let out a frustrated sigh.
Viraj knew this better than anyone. The whole situation was driving him insane. If not for Naina in his arms he would have lost it completely. He knew that if they make one wrong move it would cost the life of Veer. They aren't exactly saints who will let children live. These people are terrorists for a reason. They're so blinded by they're motives and the thirst for power that they don't give a shit as to who they kill.
Naina glanced up at Viraj. She could feel his rage. Sensing his anger she placed his hands on his cheek and brushed cheek. Viraj looked at her with a blank face. Naina's heart dropped, she hated when he made that face. He was trying to conceal his feelings. "Arjun we can't wait here just like that! We have to do something!!! I don't care what happens! I want Veer back safe and sound that's all." Arjun sighed he can understand his friend's frustration but they had already searched the entire area and couldn't find anything.
