Today's Friday...
We'd usually be having a little road trip to cracker barrel after school...
I know that it was only fun for me since I'd literally have to drag Mei out of the house just to get chicken and dumplings but, the adventure is what always made me wanna do it every weekend.
I can just see the cracked up smile on Mei's face whenever I'd pop out of the truck and just scream CRACKER BARREL!
And she'd just laugh her butt off—embarrassing the both of us in front of strangers passing by.
And then when we'd end up getting to the restaurant just at closing time because of LA traffic... But we'd sing songs till our yells turned to shrieks...

It hurts too much.
