(Izuku's POV)
I wanted to talk to Iri during lunch and ask her a lot of questions. However, Todoroki called me and told me about his childhood, his father, and his quirks. After that, I looked for her everywhere. I found her chatting with Shinso, Uraraka, Iida, and Asui. I mean Tsuyu.
"Iri!"
"Cinnamon! Where have you been?" She asked me excitedly. I always wondered why it seemed that Iri knew everything.
"You will get an awesome quirk!" (a memory from when they were four.)
"Don't worry! You'll meet someone that'll change your fate." (a memory before Izuku met All Might.)
"If it weren't for young Tokuma, we wouldn't be there earlier."
"I-Iri?"
"Well, surprisingly, she knew about the LOV attack. You said she was your childhood friend, right?"
"Y-Yeah! We grew up together and did everything together." (a memory after the USJ attack)
"'If any of the teams managed to steal your headband, could you promise to get all the stolen points from them?' was what Tokuma told me--" Is this even normal?
I got lost in my thoughts that I couldn't hear my friends calling me. "Oy, Nerd! Are you deaf?!" It was Kacchan who brought me back to my senses. Then, Uraraka told me that we needed to go to the stadium for the final event. Ah! I'll ask Iri later.
When we arrived at the stadium, Midnight sensei told us that we would have a one-on-one battle tournament, so we had to draw lots to decide on our opponents.
First Round
1. Midoriya vs. Hitoshi
2. Todoroki vs. Sero
3. Tokuma vs. Kaminari
4. Iida vs. Hatsume
5. Ashido vs. Aoyama
6. Tokoyami vs. Yaoyorozu
7. Ojiro vs. Kirishima
8. Uraraka vs. Bakugo
The first fight was between Shinso and me. He tried to brainwash me by provoking me to respond. Shinso's quirk was superb, but it would be a problem if his opponent knew about it. Our training was paying off now as he could manage to last in our one-on-one battle without his quirk. Somehow, I thought this fight was something that Iri already knew would happen. That was why she insisted on doing the truel training.
