After Biology 101, it was time for lunch. I grabbed my bag and started walking towards the cafeteria. As I walked, I felt two pairs of eyes looking at me. "It's rude to stare you know," I said as I looked at the two boys. One of them wore a Minnesota sweatshirt and the other boy wore a blue plaid shirt. The guy with the sweatshirt grabbed my hand and twirled me around. His husky voice tickled my ear, " What we can't  admire beauty?" I wrinkled my nose and started to walk away. "Hey! I'm not done with you!" The boy yelled as he gripped my wrist. I struggled to free myself, but it was no use. "Leave her alone, Hunter," demanded a voice.

Hunter's hand released me and backed away. I gathered my bag and looked at my savior. "You okay, Luna?" asked Circe. I nodded my head and looked away. First day and I'm already being assaulted. Circe chastised Hunter and his friend, and made them apologize. The boys left and Circe's big eyes looked at me. "Thanks for saving me, Circe," I mumbled. Circe smiled and hooked her arm with mine as she guided me towards the lunch room. The voices of students echoed in the almost empty hallways. "No problem. I couldn't let those big, mean boys hurt you," she said. I looked at her face and smiled slightly. "Well... thanks again. I got to go now, before Derek starts wondering where I am," I started to walk away, but Circe stopped me. Her hands grabbed my hips and pushed me into a wall. I was stuck and her whole body was pressed against mine. "Luna... you thought you could leave without paying back?" Her sweet lips were near mine and I couldn't escape now. Down there I was wet and all because of her. "I'll see you this weekend, Luna," she whispered and ran towards the double doors.

Suddenly, Derek came around the corner and sighed. "Luna! I've been looking for you everywhere! Where have you been?" My head was spinning and my legs were wobbly. "Hey? You okay, Luna?" He asked as he neared me. I glared at him and blew up. "Really!? You ditched me, idiot!" I blurted out. His smile twisted into a frown and he looked at me with guilty eyes. "I'm sorry..." he mumbled, " I left 'cause I can't stand being near Circe." I sighed and apologize. "Just take me home, Derek." I grabbed his hand and pulled him outside. Too much excitement for me today.
