My head was in Ashton's neck as I took my time to sort out my brain. I didn't know how to start what I would be telling Ashton. It was a hard time in my life.

"I h-had this b-boyfriend." I started quietly.

"Okay." Ashton said slowly. "What was his name?"

"A-Adam." I said, remembering the boys black hair and piercing blue eyes. "I thought h-he was t-the l-love of m-my life b-but I w-was only f-fourteen at t-the time s-so I w-wouldn't have k-known a-any better."

Ashton nodded and I stared at the small star hanging down in the middle of our tent, I'd put it up because I thought it was cute.

"Well uhm w-we d-dated for about a y-year and it's was r-really amazing and then o-one day we w-went to the b-beach." I sighed, "E-Everything was n-normal u-until we g-got in to the w-water. Then he t-tried d-drowning me."

Ashton's eyes widened and his grip on my waist tightened. "Oh baby. Why?"

"He t-thought I w-was c-cheating." I whispered. "-And because he was my f-first boyfriend B-Ben and J-Jack were s-suspicious and being the overprotective p-people t-they are—they f-followed us to the b-beach and they'd s-seen Adam try d-drowning m-me.

"When I f-finally c-could breath again I was s-sobbing and A-Adam was s-screaming and c-crying and J-Jack just h-hugged me as B-Ben dragged A-Adam away and h-he d-drove him h-home. Jack m-made me t-tell him e-everything and I-it was j-just so traumatic a-and f-frightening that my s-stutter developed a-and I've been g-going to th-therapy but it's not b-been w-working.

"My s-stutter hadn't s-shown any sign o-of l-leaving until I m-met y-you." I shy smiled, looking up at Ashton's face. "Are y-you c-crying?" I gasped out, seeing a stray year fall down his cheek.

"No of course not--"

"You d-don't have t-to a-act so tough all t-the t-time." I told Ashton, stroking his cheek softly. "You're a-allowed to c-cry."

"No I'm not. I'm the tough guy in school and people are scared of me and I need to keep that rep up but being with you makes me weak and I love that. But hearing that your only other boyfriend tried to drown you makes me so fucking sad and I need to make everything we do together special and amazing and I never want to see you sad ever again because you're too beautiful to cry, kitten."

I kissed him.

I lept up and straddled Ashton, kissing him deeply. Our tongues met and my hips grounded down against Ashton's.

"You're so fucking cute and hot and when you sass someone with the stutter, you make me want to fuck you in to next week." Ashton panted as I pulled away. "Luke, you do things to my head and it fucking scares me because I've never been like this with someone before."

"It's okay." I kissed his lips chastely. "Y-You do th-things to my h-head t-too."

After everyone had finished swimming, the teachers made fires and our small group of friends sat around it together. Plus a few extra people, like Aleshia's friend and her boyfriend.

So there were ten of us and I sat in between Ashton's legs, a blanket around my shoulders and his fingers played in my hair.

A few teachers were making burgers and hot dogs and I couldn't wait to eat, I was starving. Harry was currently singing for our group and then Mr Thompson came over with a guitar. He handed the instrument to Niall. "I have a cajon in my car Ashton."

Ashton's eyes widened and he scrambled up and ran to Mr Thompson's car. 

Niall began to play a song and I smiled when hearing it was Wonderwall by Oasis, and Harry began to sing. Then Niall and Louis joined in too. So I took it upon my self to sing along too.

Ashton soon came back with the wooden box and he sat on it and began to drum along to Niall's guitar.

"Today is gonna be the day

I stared up at Ashton and he grinned down at me so I quickly kissed his cheek.

Aleshia began to sing too and she sounded really good and Calum was staring at her with a look of admiration.

On the last word Harry hit a high note and then so did Zayn and I gaped at them because what the fuck they could all sing so well. And I was feeling more and more insecure with my voice and them Ashton joined in and I wanted to cry.

So I stopped singing.

People around us clapped and I simply leaned against Ashton's side, ignoring everyone and trying to stop the tears.

Dinner was later served and I looked down at the greasy food and sighed. I looked to Niall and he was scarfing his down so I handed him my plate, "What?"

"I'm n-not h-hungry, Niall. H-Have i-it."

I was so hungry but as I felt my stomach, I wanted to vomit.

So I sat down beside Ashton and he wrapped an arm around my shoulder. But all the comfort I wanted right now was from my blade.

I went to bed before Ashton. He said he would go have a smoke with Harry and I left him to it. I lay down on our pile of blankets and sleeping bags and I stripped down to my panties.

I put on my pink pyjamas and I wrapped the blanket around me. I quickly got my headphones and my iPod before I began to blast my Taylor and Justin playlist.
