Ever since you went away
Without even saying bye
There hasn't been a single day
Where I don't ask myself why
Ever since you tried to die
Things haven't been the same
If only you could see yourself in my eye
Maybe you'd see you're not the one too blame
They say there's a reason
But what reason do they give
They say healing will take time
But time can't fix the way you live
People who don't understand
Will give an answer plain and bland
While people who know
Will try to find your glow
When you feel you're in trouble
Please don't be scared to ask for help
Keeping it in will soon pop like a bubble
And people won't be there to hear you yelp
For you are not alone
I will be there to help you cope
You don't have to do it on your own
You see my friend you must never give up hope
When you need to cry
I will give you my knee
When you wish to be in the sky
I will throw away that key
Stay out of your mind
And think before you're gone
Only then will you find
The beauty they call dawnIf you feel you can't sleep at night
And the burdens you cannot bare
Know you are not alone in this fight
And there will always be people who care
I wish there was more that I knew
What made your heart tear
I will help you through this blue
Just know that I will always be there
If I could help for each time that you've criedEven if it was only a little bit
Would you stop the need to hide
Please never feel like you have to quitLife and death hold many mystery's
And there might never be a cure
You don't have to make history
But I promise you one things for sureWhen life gets tough
Face it with a broom
For when the sides get rough
Show it that your flower will bloom
Look inside yourself and begin to loveSo then there won't be any doubt
Give those awful feelings one big shove
For you seeyou're one person I can't live without
