"Hello" I answered

"Annabeth, I'm sorry to bother you again," Luke said "I wanted to know when you're free, so we can grab a coffee and talk about the offer"

"I'll notify you when I'm free, Luke," I said. Percy opened his eyes once again and stared at the phone in my ear.

"Whenever it suits you, ma'am" I hang up again and glanced down at Percy "What," I said

"Luke? Luke from Cas Studios?" he said, and his eyebrows were scrunched together. I nodded. "What does he want?"

"He wanted to know if I'd be interested in the offer they recommended me," I said "not a big deal"

"And you said..." he sat up

"Yes," I put the phone down and stared at him "Are you interrogating me now?"

"I am. Why didn't you tell me?" he said harshly

"I told you now"

"Don't accept it" he said, softening his tone a little, but his expression was kind of hard to read, for the first time. He took my hand "Whoever you want, but not Cas"

I let go of his hand "I'll think about it"

"You're doing this because of Mars Sounds, aren't you?"

"What about them?" I said. Mars Sounds was another grand company, Cas Studios's biggest adversary. I didn't like them at all, and I sure was happy they didn't want me to sing for them.

"You're acting like you don't know what I'm talking about," he said getting up "Maybe I did the right thing then"

And with that, he left. After an hour of trying to understand what I had missed, I decided to call Silena.

"Well, Percy accepted Mars Studios' contract," Silena answered. "He left Campus so happy to come and tell you"

"Why would he think I would be happy about that? We can't just do that to Mr. Brunner. We can't betray him"

"It's not betraying Annabeth, to think about your future. And Mr. Brunner knows that. He said to us that-"

"Bye Silena," I said and hung up. I couldn't believe it. I went to talk to Mr. Brunner and found him busy with a lot of papers on his desk.

"Can I come in?" I said

"Yes, Annabeth, I was waiting for you"

"What is happening?" I said and looked in the papers in front of him. He was singing some of them

"I sold The Campus Studios, Annabeth," he said with a smile. I didn't ask why, I didn't ask anything at all. I was shocked. I got up and felt the warm water burning my eyes. I could hear Mr. Brunner say words but I couldn't make them.

Of course, they had to sell the studio. After Percy's left... Of course.

"Hi Luke" I shook the blonde's hand, "Nice to meet you"

"Nice to meet you too, Annabeth," he said. After I got our The Studio, I called Luke. He was down to meet at Starbucks near the Central Park Zoo.

After a week, I started working with Cas Studios. Piper was the only one who knew that. I may accept that's she wasn't that happy about that, but still, she supported me. They offered me a two-year contract, letting me know that after I sign, I can't turn it off. I didn't mind. I was happy. Or, was I? I hadn't talked to Percy and hadn't heard anything of him the whole week.

Maybe it was better like this.

I'm... um... sorry?
