A Smile Can Cure A Lot - An Exo Baekhyun One Shot

Kiah's head knocked against the table as she nodded off to sleep for the millionth time, she groaned and forced herself to sit up straight. Her drowsy eyes glanced around the horrible mess that was her apartment, clothes and rubbish lay strewn across furniture and across the ground. Kiah jumped up and cursed, she had forgotten she had food cooking on the stove! She rushed into the kitchen and pulled off the steaming lid of the pot of food, burning her fingers in the process. She glanced at the burnt lump of chicken and sauce and gingerly brought a spoonful to her mouth to taste. As soon as the burnt concoction hit her tongue she grimaced and nearly gagged. 

"Well, at least I know not to pursue a career in cooking" She thought, laughing silently to herself.  Hands wrapped around Kiah's waist and a head rested on her's. Baekhyun. He kissed her cheek and smiled. "Hey"  

Kiah's cheeks flamed, she glanced downwards, her cheek getting hotter by the second.  "When did you get in?"

 "As usual, you leave your apartment key under the doormat. That's really cliche you know, anyone can just barge into the apartment"

"Damn, I'll have to move it" She grumbled.  "You'll tell me where you hide it right?" Baekhyun whispered, kissing her ear playfully. 

"Only if you're good" Kiah grinned. "Now if you don't mind, I'm trying to save my burnt lunch" 

"Food?" He said hungrily, eyeing the open pot. 

She laughed. "If you value your life, I don't think you want this anywhere near your mouth" Getting ready to close the lid. 

Baekhyun stopped her and squeezed her waist. "Please?" He whispered, his attempt at aeygo sending Kiah into a fit of giggles. 

"Ok Ok" She laughed, finally giving in. She piled a small amount of the burnt gunk onto a spoon and grimaced as Baekhyun's mouth closed around it. There was a pause and Kiah was sure she felt Baekhyun shudder slightly before swallowing. 

He kissed her on the cheek and grinned. "Delicious, just like you!" 

Kiah turned to face him and raised her eyebrows. "You're a bad liar and incredibly cheesy" She chuckled flicking his forehead playfully. 

Baekhyun pouted and fake winced. "That hurt. I never knew I had such an abusive girlfriend" He said, his eyes locked with hers. 

Kiah's cheeks flamed red and prickled at the word. She liked it. A giggle escaped her lips, she leaned closer to him. Baekhyun smiled and his lips fell onto hers, seconds later the two were in a heated kiss, baekyun's hands tightened around her waist and Kiah enveloped her hands in his. 

"Urgh" A voice groaned. Baekhyun and Kiah flew apart, Kiah blushed ferociously and Baekhyun chuckled, his cheeks slightly tinged red as he faced the intruder. 

"Not over the food please. Or in the kitchen, if you're that eager to have a making out session, you have a bedroom right there" 

Kiah's eyes shot wide open and she bit her lip in embarrassment. "Yah!" She said, glaring at her roommate and best friend Minori; shortned as Mini. The name suited her since she was probably the height of a tall dwarf and that's not exaggerating. 

Mini grinned mischievously and waved them goodbye as she turned out of the kitchen. "You're lucky I have work, you can carry on with the make-out session now!" 

Kiah closed her eyes and made a mental note to get her revenge on Mini. She gasped and let out a shriek. "I forgot! I have work too, I'll see you later Baek!" She said, running into her room and coming out minutes later, dressed for work.
