Chapter One
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Calum’s style usually consisted more of creams and whites and pinks; frills and puffy skirts and dainty, pristine socks under pastel shoes, however Louis had insisted for a night out, something darker and more seductive was required.

Calum didn’t like the idea of being seductive, and was thankful when the best thing they could find was a red-wine coloured long sleeved shirt with a flowing, white Peter Pan collar, a short, black flared skirt and black, white creepers, with white, frilly socks, as Calum insisted and lace black panties to finish it off.

Louis had found a little nook where he kept his underwear and had immediately raided it, exclaiming with squeals of delight when he found a pair he liked, whilst Calum laid face-down on his bed, face beet-red with shame and close to exploding in humiliation. Louis had forced him to bring some along even though Calum insisted the pair he was wearing now was fine. Louis had denied the thought immediately after finding they were girl boxers, faded pink and covered in unicorn prints.

Which was how Calum found himself idly tugging at the hem of his skirt and plucking at loose ends on his shirts; nervous antics. Every time he stared in the mirror in Louis’ bathroom, he saw another fault with his appearance. It was probably paranoia, because he’d never gone out like this before; never fully been himself like this, and the fact that he was filled his stomach with nervous excitement.

He knew he was being stupid. It wouldn’t matter if his hair was out of place or he’d smudged his lip gloss a little, because by the end of the night he would probably be an even bigger mess, but he couldn’t help but add that extra coat of mascara or shift his clothes on his body for the hundredth time. He’d been at it for a good twenty minutes for now.

It had been difficult to convince his mother. She was never really fond of ‘sleep overs’ as Calum had called it, anyway, and adding on that it was a sleepover at Louis’ house didn’t help. She tolerated Louis, but what she would never say to his face was that she wished she didn’t have to. Louis was what she called on the border of common. He was rich enough to live on this estate, but only just, and so she was constantly between opinions on Louis.

However, with determination and Louis’ smooth charm, they’d managed to pull the wool over her eyes. Not so much over Calum’s though. He was still cautious, but he knew it was too far now to turn back. Calum licked his lips nervously, glanced around the room. It might not be too late yet. He could always grab his clothes and run. There was a window above the toilet, and because Louis’ house was a bungalow, Calum knew he wouldn’t be risking a neck injury. He could do it—

Before the crazy idea could be considered further, however, a knock upon the bathroom door alerted Calum’s attention. “Cal, you’ve been in there almost half an hour. What’s wrong?”

“I—It’s nothing,” He called back shakily, forcing a laughter that sounded more like he was choking. Just considering the pros and cons of jumping out of your bathroom window.
