pt 9 no better

ONE AND A HALF WEEKS LATER

I know I said I would never do it with Kyle again, but I did. We've been having sex almost everyday. This was all gonna stop though because we were going back home. On the jet I looked out the window and thought how it would be with me and Kyle when we get back.

MONDAY
We finished school and we were meeting at the park for a picnic. We had to drag the boys along. The boys were gonna meet us at our school parking lot.

When they arrived I didn't really talk with Kyle. It was hard for me to even keep long eye contact with him. We were in the grocery store picking out our picnic food. "Hey, me and Aven are gonna pick out a cake." Kyle said. I gave him a questioning look but just mouthed "come on" I reluctantly followed him. "What?" I questioned.
"Are we not gonna talk about spring break?" He asked.
"That's exactly what's gonna happen. Let's just forget about it." I replied.
It looked like he wanted to say something but he just nodded. We grabbed a small blue cake and walked back to the group.

We laid down a blanket and all sat on it. We were all talking and eating snacks. Kyle opened the cake and then called "Aven" I turned to face him and he put frosting on my nose. My mouth slightly fell open, I grabbed a bit more frosting and swiped his cheek laughing. He went to get some more on me, but I moved away leaning onto Grant. Looking up at him, I took the frosting on my nose off and put it on him. I giggled at his shocked face.

I grabbed a napkin wiping it off my fingers and nose. "Here, I got it." I said wiping off the icing on Kyle's cheek. I turned to Grant handing him a napkin. My phone dings and I look down and have a text from Jenna let's go to the bathroom.

" Im going to the bathroom." I said.
"I'll come too." Jenna stated. Me and her were walking to the bathroom when I asked
"What's up?"
"Do you like Kyle?" She asked.
I paused "Uhh no."
"Be honest."
"Maybe like the tiniest crush but it's literally nothing." I admitted.
"I fucking knew it." She smiled. Which made me roll my eyes.
"Wait Jenna let's go to my house later I need to tell you something." I said decide if to tell her about what me and Kyle did.

Jenna was over at my house and we were in my room. "Okay you can't tell anyone."
"Just tell me already." She said impatiently.
"me and Kyle had sex... multiple times." I said. Her mouth was wide open. "But it meant nothing." I added.
"Bruh." Was all she said. I explained everything that happened and how we would never do it again.

NEXT DAY
I was headed to the coffee shop because I was craving their bagels. I walked i. the shop and the door chimed. "Hello what can I get you?" The barista asked.
"I will take a toasted everything bagel." I replied.
"Is that it?" He asked and I nodded. I waited to the side for it and was just looking around. I spotted Kyle talking to Ladybird. I decided to go up to him after their conversation so I don't disrupt. I stopped paying attention until I heard someone say "I don't pay you to flirt."
"I'm not flirting." Ladybird responds.
"Wish you had been." Kyle said and my heart dropped. I had no reason to mad but I was. It's not like me and Kyle were in a relationship but ai felt so hurt.

I got my bagel and quickly left. I sat in my car and thought. I know a way to feel better just get with another guy. Grant was kinda cute.

Aven- hey
Grant- Sup
Aven- u free
Grant-yeah wanna hang
Aven-yes plz where tho
Grant- Millies?

I had never been there. It was a cute little diner.

Aven- sounds good :)

I walked inside and Grant was already at a booth waving me down. "Hey Grant." I said sitting down. "Hey, why'd you wanna hang out?" He asked.
"Just bored I guess." I smile. We talk for a while about anything and everything.
"You know the first time I saw you I thought you were really cute." He said. Cringe I thought but just replied "Everyone does." joking.

We finished up our food and he was walking me to my car. "Was this a date?" he asked.
"If you think it is." I replied.
"Wellll I always end my dates with a kiss, soo." He leaned in placing a kiss on my lips. I said goodbye and got in my car.
