Can't you see?
Because I do
Your tears
Tears that you hide away
Lock them up behind big doors
But your vision
So blurred
That you forget
They are glass
I see you
Please don't cryCan't you hear me?
My whole body screams at you
Begs you
To remember
I am here too
Just for you.
Behind theses doors
I lay
Muffled by your own cries
You can't hear me
I hear you
And break at each sound
At each scream
At each pain that falls from
Your perfect face
Your beautiful face
All so clear
Behind these glass doorsBut you're blind
It is hard to believe that such greatness
Is lost in its own sound of hate
Missed in eyes soaked from envy
For other people
Not even close to your
Wonderful smile
No one quite smiles like you.
Though it is just a memory now
And old photograph
A snapshot of better days
With no reason for soundproof glassMaybe one day the doors
Will reflect what I see
Someone strong
Beautiful
Perfect.
Maybe one day
You give me the power
To break them down.Inspiration: Dealing with suicidal loved ones
