So current I know it will end
I can feel the lost
And hear the forgetfulness
It's so clear
But a chance it won't

That chance I live in

Are my roomates
We live together under a roof of
False hope
We sing, dance and laugh
Oblivious
Of the reality
Endless fun by
Ignoring an unavoidable
End
There are memories and moments
It fuels us
Empowers us
A touch
A smile
All of it
We twist and bend my own mind
Creating a heaven to play in
Nothing more
But suddenly you can't stand it
Something shatters and
Laughs don't come
And fear crawls in
It steals our songs
And mocks our sound
Tears down our home
Leaves us bear
With it comes doubt
Together they destroy
Replacing our foundation
With a cold hard reality
The ending so evident now
It likes its there
If not
We bring it
We end it.
