A howl in the shadows,
A song in the mist,
A heart that's left broken,
And one that's been kissed.
Seagulls are diving,
The swifts are all gone.
One life is ending,
But another's begun.
Raindrops hit water
Fog hides all the dunes.
I run for the coastline,
Now without you.
Summer lies sleeping,
Winter shuns heat.
One life is ending,
But another's begun.
