A young man with dark blue-green was collocating books in Tukson's Book Trade when he saw from the a window an orange haired man with a white trenchcoat, a cigarre in his mouth and a black bowler hat. This was Roman Torchwick, a known criminal. Behind him appeared his boss Tukson and looked annoyed out of the window.
Tukson: This guy again.
Byleth: I know. Tukson, the books are in the shelves where you wanted them
Tukson: Good work, kid. I think you stop for today and head home. Don't you have school tomorrow.
Byleth: Yeah.
Tukson: Then off with you. I take care with last preparations and you head home. I'll write you when I need your help again.
Byleth: All right. Good evening, mr Tukson. *leaves*
Tukson: What a strange kid like always. But it's never bad to have a little help even he's a human.
Byleth went to his motorcyle, a few blocks farther from the bookstore and drove to From Dust Till Dawn where his little cousin should had been.
When he arrived the Dust shop, his adoptive cousin Ruby crashed through a window.
Byleth: *takes his helmet off* Ruby?
Ruby: Oh. Hi, Byleth!
They saw Roman and his henchmen looked outside as Ruby got up and unfolded Crescent Rose into its scythe form. Byleth understood what happened and took out his Flying Serpent from its shealth on his back. Roman scowled, but Ruby smiled back at them before twirling the weapon around, striking it into the ground and turned off her headphones. Byleth swinged his sword and rested the blade on his shoulder.
Roman: Okayyy... (to his remaining henchmen) Get them!
The henchmen headed out of the shop and ran at Ruby and Byleth. Ruby spinned around on top of her scythe and kicked the first approaching criminal in the face. She got Crescent Rose out of the ground and fires it off to hit another one with the butt of her weapon, sending him flying. She fires again and brings the side down on one attacker and dodges the next's gunfire with her rifle's speed. Byleth took the chance and swung the last thug with the whip around him, trapped him and pulled him to Byleth himself so that he gave the thug a hard kick on his temple, hard enough to knock him into the air and landed to Roman's feet. He looked at Roman without emotions and got combat ready.
Roman: You two were worth every cent. Truly, you were. *to Ruby, drops his cigar and crushes it with his cane as approaching police sirens are heard* Well, Red, Black I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening, and as much as I'd love to stick around... *raises his cane and opens the bottom to reveal a rifle with a cross grid* ...I'm afraid this is where we part ways.
Roman unleashed a red blast at the cousins, who fired at the ground and leaps over it while the other one jumped back. When they landed and looked up, Roman wasn't there, and was climbing up a ladder on a nearby building. Byleth waisted no time and charged him.
