It was 6 A.M in the morning when Team AMB awakened... except Maira who had to be pulled out from the bed. They made themself fresh, changed into their uniforms, went to the cafeteria and used some of their time outside in the courtyard to relax on the sun. When Byleth closed his eyes, he found himself in a dark room where a throne was on the top of stairs. On the throne was sitting a little, green haired girl dressed in a blue outfit and slept.

Byleth: Hello, Sothis.

Sothis didn't respond. Byleth just sighed, walked up the stairs and sat beside the throne.

Byleth: I still don't know if you can hear me, no matter how often I visit you, but I must tell you what happened the last few days. My little cousin-Ruby- who is two years younger got enrolled with Yang to the Beacon Academy. I don't know what Ozpin thought of this idea, but maybe I'll find it out one day. In the initation, you should have seen how the kids defeated a Death Stalker and a Nevermore. You would have for sure liked it.

He looked at Sothis who still wasn't responding. He let out a sigh and stood up.

Byleth: I shall better had back. No idea how much time passed. *holds one of Sothis' hands* I'll come back. I promise.

He let go of her hand and started to walk down the stairs. He didn't noticed that Sothis let out a small smile on her face. Back in reality, when Byleth opened his eyes, he felt that someone shook him on the shoulders. He looked up and saw that it was Azura who starred worried at him.

Azura: My apologies, but you drifted out and I couldn't wake you up. Are you all right?

Byleth: *takes gentle Azura's hands and shoves them from his shoulders and stands up* I'm fine. Thanks.

From the background, Maira looked curious at Byleth. Since the first day, she felt something that was similar from her people but didn't knew what.

Maira: We should reall go into our class. Class starts in 10 minutes.

Byleth: Then let's go.

Before they could reach to their class, they had to dodge Team RWBY and Team JNPR who were hurrying to their own classroom.

Azura: Were they late?

Byleth: Possibly.

Maira: Did they oversleep?

Byleth: Let's get in before Professor Greene sees us outside.

In the classroom where the Teams RWBY and JNPR were, they got their first lessons from an elderly Huntsman named Peter Port.

Port: "Monsters! Deeeemons... Prowlers of the night! Yes, the creatures of Grimm have many names, but I merely refer to them as prey! Ha-ha!"

Nobody laughed on that joke. The members of RWBY, seated on the front row, were in varying stages of interest; Blake and Yang were sitting up and paid attention, Weiss was taking notes, and Ruby had her head propped in her hand as she took a quick nap until she was woken back up by Port's bad joke, which received a cricket-filled silence as a result.

Port: Uhhhh... And you shall too, upon graduating from this prestigious academy! Now, as I was saying: Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world! Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces! And that's where we come in. Huntsmen! Huntresses... *gives Yang a wink, which she groans uncomfortably at* Individuals who have sworn to protect those who cannot protect themselves! From what, you ask? Why, the very world!

Student: *raises his fist* Ayyyy-yep!

The student stood like this for a moment as everyone looked at him strangely before he sat down, embarrassed.
