My stepdad had to stay at the hospital the whole week, meaning overnight shifts. Thank God!
I walked out the house, and walked out the neighborhood, while mama was working. I just walked around town, listening to music on my phone and texting Terence, Keyshia, Meme, and Walter. Meme called me a couple minutes after my last text.
" Wanna sleep over at my house? Everyone else will be there. " She said. " I'll try. " I said. " Okay. " I could hear her hopes building up. " I didn't say I was. " I said. " But you'll try. " She reminded herself.
We hung up about ten minutes later, and I walked off the bus, then went across the street. There was this French bakery called Amelie's, and a theatre store, and everything.
I walked inside the bakery, and there was English paintings on the wall, and colored tables and chairs. It was like a french bakery in France too.
My phone started ringing as I looked through the glass. I checked for my money in my pocket, and felt my wallet and it was full. I sell weed, but since its getting cold, I ain't bout to stand out there selling weed, coco, and all that for money. Plus, I hate selling, I might just stop and go get a real job. But i'm not working at some fast food place.
I saw Justice's name pop up, but the background was blurry, I didn't set a picture for her yet, cause I didn't have one.
" Wassup. " I said. Her voice boomed through my beats, and it gave me a slight headache. I turned my volume down.
" Hey. " She said. " Are you going to Meme's sleepover? " She asked. " I might. " I shrugged like she could see me. " Please do. I'll be all shy and boring. " She said. " What's that suppose to mean? " I grinned. " You bring some of the real me out, i'm not so quiet and stuck up. " She said nervously. " I feel so special. " I smiled rubbing my hands together.
She giggled, and I smiled, her giggle sounded so cute.
" Anyway, where are you? " She asked. " Amelie's this french bakery. " I said. " OH my gosh! That place is so good, wait there, i'm coming. " I could hear her tumble and she shouted " My bad! " In my ears.
I sat down at one of the tables, and pulled out my charger and charged it in the outlet. I had to go to the gym to workout soon, so Justice better hurry.
Right when I finished my thought she came in. She looked around for me, and smiled when she saw me. She looked cute. She wore black joggers, a crop top hoodie that says work out in white, red lipstick, and some jordans, with earmuffs, gloves, gold big hoops and her straight hair in a bun.
I stood up and walked towards her. " Wassup. " I hugged her wrapping my arms around her head, as she hugged my waist. She was shivering. " Should be wearing a coat. " I stated. " I just threw on some shoes, and stuff them left. " She shrugged.
" Whatever, I gotta go to the gym soon though. " I said. " Okay, I can drive us there. " She pointed to a black mercedes. I nodded, and she went to the glass filled with pastries.
After a while she sat down and ate, then got a cup of water drank it, went to the bathroom then we left.
I got into her car, and sunk into the black leather seats. Her car smelt like fresh air, and it was clean. Everything polished, and not a stain of dirt.
" Where's your gym? " She asked putting up her GPS on her screen. " 401 east 35th street." I replied. She nodded, and put it in, then drove off quickly.
About twenty minutes later we were at the gym. We both got out the car, and walked in. I went into a big room, and once you walked in you saw a boxing arena. We went to the back and turned right and I put my coat and stuff in my locker. I had on some sweats, and black wife beater on already.
