AARON ROLLS HIS AMBER HAZEL EYES AS he listens to Julian and Kayla drone on and on about how they should've hooked up at Devin's party. He didn't walk down the hallway to the coffee kiosk for this shit. He just wants to get coffee for him and Christian, then head back to their dorm.

He tunes them in out in favor of scrolling through Snapchat. Some people are still posting videos from the party. To be honest, he's watching these stories because he doesn't remember a damn thing except being behind the bar, making drinks, and dancing with Chris- the taller male kissing on his neck.

The barista hands him the two large coffees. He smiles at the girl behind the counter, grabs them, and walks down the hallway. When he enters the room, he spots Chris sitting on the bed, talking on the phone.

"No Leighton, you and Will cannot come to visit me. Last I checked, you're supposed to be eating dinner with mom and dad or sneaking out to go to some party. I'm busy. No, I'm not hooking up with random people. Mind the business that pays you, alright. Miss me with that shit. Goodbye." He hangs up and chucks the phone on the bed somewhere behind him. He doesn't care at this moment.

Aaron chuckles at this. "Hey, you."

"Hey yourself." Christian takes note of the coffee in his hand and groans happily. "You're a lifesaver. After talking to that little spawn of the devil on the phone and her doing or saying anything she possibly can to annoy me, I need a pick-me-up. Coffee and you." He pulls Aaron on his lap and snags the decaf coffee cup out of his hand.

Aaron sips his cappuccino and sighs happily at the hand massaging his thigh. Mind you, he's wearing shorts. Christian really loves seeing him in shorts.

"Sister?" Aaron inquires, running a hand through the elder's hand.

Chris nods and sits both cups down on the desk. "Yeah. That's Leighton. She and my brother Will can be classified as nuisances. They get on my damn nerves. She's talking about coming to California, Windsor to be specific, to visit me. That's not happening but knowing her, she'll try to use them goddamn puppy dog eyes to convince my dad to let her come. He'll say yes which will lead to him, Leighton, Will, and my mother coming. That's the last thing I need."

"Let me be a distraction. Take your mind off of that."

The elder pulls him for a kiss, grateful for having met Aaron. "What a gorgeous distraction. I'm so focused on you that I forgot what I was even ranting about." Not so fast, homie.

They move to take things deeper but a loud knock on the door interrupts all of that. Aaron pouts as Christian moves from his place off the bed. The taller male placates him by kissing him deeply. Suddenly, Aaron is calm... but he wants more.

Chris hauls the door open to see Devin, the pretty boy standing there in a oversized t-shirt and silk pajama pants with a Gucci slides, his arms crossed and a scowl on his face. "Wassup Devin?"

"Hello. Letting you know that uh.... your family's here. Meaning in California, at Windsor Academy. Currently walking down the hallway as we speak. Oh. One more thing- your sister had the audacity to insult me and my mannerisms on her way into the building. If it hadn't been for Justin pulling me away, I would've thrown hands. But since that's your sister and I have major respect for you, I willingly let him move me out of the way."

Christian shakes his head and laughs at this. Leighton is very out there -meaning she will say/do some foul shit and not care about the repercussions.

"Don't worry Dev. I'll take care of it."

Devin nods. At this point, he just wants to go back to his room and go to sleep. The first day of classes ended three hours ago and in that time frame, Justin made love to him. He could've got pounded into the mattress but both of them were too tired to do anything hardcore.

"You do that. I'm going to sleep." And with that, he says goodbye to both of them and walks back to the hall where Justin smiles and pulls him into the room.

Christian turns to grab a shirt but stops when he sees Aaron holding one up for him. "Thank you, gorgeous." He goes to give him a soft kiss but something, more someone loudly clearing their throat, interrupts the vibe. Right off the bat, he knows who it is. It's his mother Serena.

"Chris, you might want to turn around. She's not impressed." Aaron mouths, causing said male to shake his head. "She's probably going to throttle you."

Now that makes him turn around. Behind Serena stands William, Leighton, and his father Logan. The only question running through Chris's mind is: what the fuck are they doing here? "Hello, family."

Thank the heavens above that the room is spotless. His theory: Serena has come to scrutinize the school (as always) and students, Leighton has come to annoy her brother and be nosy as shit, William has come to ogle every girl he lays eyes on, and Logan, more than likely, wants to make sure that his eldest son hasn't caused another scandal.

"Hello, son. Do you intend on having us stand in this hallway for a long time?" Logan inquires. Chris stands aside to let them enter. Aaron's eyes widen as he wonders how the hell he can avoid being in this damn room.

Luckily, the answer comes in the form of Dominic, who stops in front of the opened door. "Wassup Chris?" A high five is given and the male turns to Aaron. "Aaron, I'm glad you're in here. Julian is looking for you."

This makes Aaron roll his eyes. He just saw Julian earlier. What the hell does the boy want now?

"Okay. Whatever he needs me for, he could've asked me earlier. I mean, I was right there next to him and Kayla at the coffee kiosk." Speaking of coffee, he grabs his cup and his phone, sends a smile in Christian's direction, and is out the door, going down the hallway, much to the taller male's displeasure.

Christian takes a deep breath and turns to his nosy ass family. "So. Mom, Dad, what brings all of you here? Completely unannounced."

"What? Do you think we've come here with intentions or something?"

Chris gives his father a droll stare. That's exactly what the fuck he thinks. All he knows is... Logan nor Serena better not enroll Leighton and William in this school or he'll raise hell. Frankly, he's glad Logan sent him to California. He wanted to get the hell out of New York and far away from his family anyway.

"Okay, I'll just ask. Have you done anything stupid yet?"

Really? Come the fuck on. He's been at this damn school since Thursday. Today is Monday. It hasn't even been a full week yet. So the answer is NO.

"No, Dad, I haven't done anything stupid." He turns to Leighton. "Leighton, you need to stop insulting people. The boy who let you in, Devin, happens to be a very respected person at this school. He has the power to ruin families' reputations. I'm doing everything I possibly can to stay on his good side. So, do me a favor. Keep your goddamn mouth shut. That boy can do, say, dress, act the way he wants. Stop talking shit about people just because you don't like what they do. They're not doing it for you."

He turns to his mother who is snooping through his things, which he hates and she knows this but still does it anyway.

"Mom, why are you snooping? The better question is... What are y'all even doing here?" Chris doesn't have the time nor patience for this. He just wants to snuggle up with Aaron and watch random shit on Netflix.

Can they just leave already? The surprise visits are not nor will they ever be necessary.

"Who's the boy who just walked out of here?"

He automatically knows where this is going. "That is Aaron. He's my roommate and before you ask... I haven't done anything with him. We are simply roommates." They have done things, many things but Logan doesn't need to know that. "Whenever you all decide to leave, I'm going to sleep right after."

This is freshman year all over again and he's not happy about it. The vibe has officially been ruined. Damn them.
