Damn...another one bites the dust.

I've ended a couple of my fics very recently, as my writing schedule somehow gets all my stories ended at the same time.
None of them had a more frustrating development as this one.

I came up with the concept in the midsts of a really bad time in my life and I was crying every night. I thought how nice it would be to cry with someone, and I thought about how much anger and sadness Bakugou probably has stored in him.
I thought he would pair well with a quirkless person, especially because they'd have different perspectives and they'd be forced to discuss things other than quirks.
Also, the lack of quirkless readers/OC's especially for Bakugou just got my brain stuck on the idea.

Surmise was a complete wip and I didn't really have plans going into it, which is probably why it was so difficult to write.
The drafts of this book are horrid, let me tell you. At least two or three different versions of every chapter past like the sixth one.
I wish I saved them so you could see all the content I left out, because huge chunks of story were cut. I wanna punch myself for deleting them.

I can't say I'm too proud of it?? But I also am?? I liked the concept and I liked the progression, even if their mutual respect or even Bakugou's personality might have felt rushed or out of place.
I think the situation calls for a bit of misplacement, as it's awkward and confusing.

I hope those two bullies were too much of a hassle? I didn't intend to name them, but when the girls fought and I kept using she/her pronouns, it got hard to tell who was who.
Sorry if they we weird???

I don't know if anyone noticed, but each chapter starts off with who's "perspective" the chapter is through. If it was Y/N's chapter, Bakugou's name is never mentioned and vise versa until they reveal their real names.

Y'all can just see the insecurities in this chapter, eh?
Although I myself may think I suck, I'm very happy to see how many people enjoyed it. The comments I got really do help me and very much contribute to my writing process.

I do want to shoutout softbiscuit because although surmise is not inspired from their story Uno, the style of that story (being nightly chapter events) very much contributed to the style in this book.
They probably won't see this...maybe...probably not.

Anyway, thanks so much for your support. It really does mean the world.
Thanks
-May
