Chapter 1

LAUREN'S POV
"Lauren scoot over." Someone said as they lightly shook me. I recognized that voice. Camz. I groaned into my pillow.
"I'm too tired." I croaked out.
"So? Scoot over." Camz said nudging me.
"You can't fit in here too." I said speaking of my bunk.
"But you can fit in mine?" She asked bringing up the time I snuck into hers as she slept. I mumbled a yes still too tired to move. She pushed me over and I let out a slight yelp from shock. She pushed herself into the remaining area. She instantly cuddled into my side and I turned over so we were facing. I could feel her breath on my lips. I could also feel her glare so I decided to keep my eyes shut and push her body closer. I felt her breath hitch and I couldn't help but smile a bit at our closeness.
"What time is it?" I whispered slowly
"2am..." She answered. I opened my eyes. Damn she was close.
"What are you doing up at 2am, Camz?" I said worried
"I missed you." She said quietly and way too quickly.
"You had another bad dream didn't you?" I asked as I stared into her brown eyes. She shook her head yes admitting defeat. "How about tonight and the rest of the nights you just sleep with me and we'll see how many nightmares you have." I replied hoping that would calm her nerves. She bit her lip suppressing her smile. I looked down at her lips than back to her eyes. I smiled and closed my eyes as I tried to resist the urge to kiss her. Our friendship would never be the same if I did that. I felt her push her face into the crook of my neck.
"I love you lolo." She whispered causing me to shiver.
"I love you too." More than you'll ever know Camz.
I woke up next to her happily. It's been like this lately. She would dream those bad dreams she's been too scared to tell me about and than she'd sneak into my bed. Most nights I would make room for her and talk to her and then there's nights like last night to where I completely forget about them until I realize the time or her light sobs. I wish she would realize she's too beautiful to cry over something so fake but I guess the dreams must be based upon reality or something pertaining to that to where she can't handle it. As I lay next to Camz staring at her as she slept in my arms I heard whispers in the hallway.
"Mila's not in her bunk." Dinah said
"Check Lauren's?" Ally asked
I pushed my body lower to where I could push my face into her chest and closed my eyes. I felt Camz's grip around my waist tighten. It's not that I want the girls to think I'm sleeping I just don't want them questioning why I'm caressing Camz while she's asleep. I heard my curtain squeak open slightly.
"Damn Mila's the big spoon?" Dinah asked chuckling
"Too think I expected Lauren to be it." Normani whispered back as they laughed silently
"You guys be quiet their cute." Ally said shushing them. I heard the curtain close. I realized my face was practically shoved into her boobs. It was definitely comfortable to say the least. I kept my eyes close as I smiled.
"Lo?" Camz husky voice asked. I snuggled more into her chest not wanting this to end. "Babe we need to get up." She whispered.
"Babe?" That's defiantly new. I looked up at her.
"Babe." She repeated licking her lips in the process. That girl really needs to stop doing this shit to me. I pushed my face back into her shirt.
"I thought today was our day off." I mumbled.
"That's tomorrow." She answered as she ran her fingers through my hair. I sighed.
"I'm comfortable." I mumbled once again.
"Me too." She whispered placing her chin on the top of my head. I closed my eyes trying to drift back to sleep.
"Guys." Ally said softly as she opened the curtain. "Hey Mila. She still asleep?"
"Kind of." Camz whispered
"Well we have rehearsal in an hour." Ally said, "Just thought I'd remind you."
"Thanks Ally." Camz replied softly as Ally disappeared. "Laur you need to get up and take a shower."
"I stink that bad?" I joked still not moving an inch.
"You smell amazing." Camz said chuckling, "You know showers wake you up."
"You wake me up better." I replied in my sleepy daze. I felt Camila's grasp on me lighten as she got out of my bunk. I groaned.
"Get dressed cutie. I'll see you in 5 for breakfast." She said as she grabbed her bag and headed to the bathroom. I slowly got up and changed into a pair of ripped skinny jeans and a black tank top. I put on my leather jacket and black converse while slipping my hair into a tight pony tail. Camz walked into the room. She was wearing black leggings and a purple sweatshirt with fluffy socks.
"Still tired?" She asked while slipping past me heading to the kitchen part of the tour bus.
"Extremely." I replied as I followed her.
"Did you not sleep?" She asked confused.
"I did." I said confidently
"Tired as in....exhausted?" Normani asked. I nodded.
"Well hopefully we can all recover tomorrow." Dinah spoke up.
"I'm not sure about that one." I said as I flopped down in a chair. They all looked at me.
"What do you mean?" Ally asked
"My parents want to spend the day with me." I replied while checking Twitter.
"Tell them you need sleep. A rest." Ally pushed
"I haven't seen them in weeks. They would be crushed. Plus Chris said he needs to speak to me about something important." I cleared up that for them.
"Important?" Normani asked
"Yap. Said something about being confused about some thing lately." I said knowing exactly what he felt. I was surely hoping he didn't mean it in the way I did though because I know how hard it is especially now with our parents always up his ass. I spaced out for a few minutes and noticed all the girls staring at me confused. "What?"
"You said that you know exactly what he felt." Dinah said. I froze.
"What do you mean?" Camila asked
"I don't mean anything." I lied
"Lauren..." Ally started
"Guys I don't need your help. I'm fine okay?" I asked
"Yeah okay." Dinah said sarcastically as she grabbed a plate of eggs and bacon from Ally. Ally handed us all a plate and we ate. I got a text and read it. It was from Alexa.

FROM: Alexa 😘:
Hey Lauren. Chris called and brought up something that makes since. I was thinking maybe we should talk about it. Call me later?

What the hell? Whatever this is it must be bad. I replied 'I'm talking to Chris about whatever this is tomorrow so I'll call you than'. She replied but all she put was 'okay love'. I know Alexa she wouldn't just drop something like that.
"You okay?" Camz asked. I looked up from my phone.
"I'm fine. Whatever Chris and Alexa are talking about though it's not." I replied
"What is it?" She asked curiously
"I don't know yet but they both seem concerned and that bothers me." I answered honestly. Camila put her hand on my outer thigh.
"Well when you find out I'll be here." She said sweetly. I was having trouble catching my breath.
"Yeah." I chocked out. Our manager Kate walked in.
"Ladies after rehearsal I'll need you back on this bus. There won't be any exceptions. We need to start heading toward Miami for our concert next week as well as your 'days off'." She announced
"'Day offs'?" I asked using the quotes as she did.
"Well you get the day off but only Camila and you can necessarily go home so I used the quotes." She replied than walked out. But before she completely left she stopped, "Big Rob's waiting for you outside to take you too rehearsal." Than she left. I finished eating than I walked out leaving the girls behind. Big Rob nodded at me. I shut the door.
"Their still eating. I thought I'd hang out with you for a few." I said as I nodded back.
"Lj kicking it with Me? I am honored." He joked. I laughed.
"Ouch am I that hard to get ahold of?" I asked clutching my chest
"Extremely but most the time that's good." He replied. Camila and Dinah walked out.
"Other times bad." I said as I looked at Camila than back at Big Rob.
"You should at least try." He said as he knew exactly what I was talking about.
