Chapter two - school day

August 12th 2014

I woke up that morning in a rush. I hopped out of bed and quickly threw on my new school uniform which was a pleated plaid skirt with white stockings and white polo with a black tie and white nikes. I was going to a private school so they were strict about this stuff.

"Hurry up Wes! Bus is close!" My mom yelled.

I ran downstairs and grabbed my toast off the counter.

"Thanks mom love you!" I yelled kissing her on the cheek.

I grabbed my north face back pack and swung it over my shoulder. I rolled up my skirt to make it shorter as I left and fixed my hair.

Soon the bus stopped.

I walked on and the bus driver smiled at me.

"Sit in an open seat" he said.

I nodded my head making my way through the loud kids that were yelling and screaming in the back. I sat in an empty seat towards the end.

I grabbed my book and began to read. Soon the bus stopped again. Then it started moving.

I saw someone walk past me and stop.

"Your in my seat" a boy said looking down at me.

I looked up.

"Oh, sorry I didn't know" I said.

"Well next time you sit here your gonna regret it" he said grabbing my bag and throwing it into a different seat.

I stood up and looked up at him.

He looked down at me.

He stopped moving.

"Your in my way" I said.

"Oh right" he said smiling and moving out of my way.

He picked up my bag lightly handing it to me.

I looked confused.
"I'm kyler by the way" he said smiling.

"Cool?" I said pushing my way past him.

"See ya" he said winking.

I ignored it and sat down in a different seat.

As I got off the bus I looked around at my new school.
It was giant, the kids were yelling and everywhere I went there was crowds of kids throwing things or jumping around.

I made my way to the front of the school.

There was a small group of kids they sat in a circle around a corner by a wall.

As I got closer I realized they were all reading.

My people.

"Hey" I said smiling and waving.

They looked up and ignored me.
