The smile on his face twisted his heart painfully, the feeling of the guilt in his chest and heart escaping to his face, which he was too slow to hide from the brunette bartender in front of him. He reached out and took his hand in his before squeezing it lightly to reassure him.
"What's the matter? Is something wrong?" he asked, worry and concern hinted in his words and face.
"You just..." he began, his voice almost a whisper now, "...you always do so much for me, and all I ever did is push you away..."
Jimin's lips parted into a gentle smile, and he lifted his hand to touch and gently grab his cheek softly, turning his head towards him so he could look him once again in the eye.
"But I'm still here, aren't I?" he murmured, his eyes seemed to be probing him, gazing almost longingly into his own as if exploring his soul, a feeling he had seen from him so many, many times before.
"You shouldn't be..." he whispered back, his blue eyes locked with his brown eyes and as he stared into them he saw the feeling of hurt in them.
He cast his eyes down to the floor a moment, resisting his hand in the process.
