The boat ride back was painfully tense. As the rain poured down all Evangeline did was sit there soaked and silent. She looked at Hook who did not dare make eye contact, he stared straight head jaw clenched. The Captain was furious over her disappearance and she had no idea why he had made such a big fuss about it. It's not like she couldn't defend herself against a flying boy. Or that he should even care that much to begin with. She huffed in anger looking away from hook and towards the dark roaring sea.

Out in the distance it looked like something moved in the water following the boats. It was hard to see as raindrops fell in her eyes but soon enough a pair of eyes emerged from the water. It was the mermaid from earlier, Evangeline quick pondering for a second if she should alert the crew but she watched on for a moment longer. The mermaid had not reached any of the boats but rather seemed to be following at a distance.

As they reached the Jolly Roger she looked back exchanging one last glance with the mermaid before it quickly sunk under the dark depths. On board Hook quickly stomped off towards his quarters she had reached him just as he was about to close the door. Asking for her the blue shell of which he refused.

"Why not it's mine it was given to me!" She raised her voice as the rain poured louder.

" Do you know why that is? You don't know any thing about the dangers of this island and yet you run around so freely. Just leave me be, you've done enough already." His voice was stern and cold as ice.

Evangeline sharply whipped around entering her room, slamming the door shut behind her. She laid back against the door her heart beating rapidly. She could not believe the infamous Captain Hook who sailed the seas and sky, causing fear in all was acting so stiff and rigid towards her. She was a pirate after all so why was he so afraid of her doing anything at all.

She huffed in annoyance slowly peeling herself off the door and began making her way towards the tub room. The white blouse she had been wearing was now clinging to the curves of her soaking body. As she got closer to the door she heard a soft melody, almost as a whisper though the rain. She stopped right in front of the slightly creaked door listening once more believing her mind was playing tricks on her.

What a beautiful song. She thought as she creaked open the door stepping in.
