( shane sat at the edge of his mother's hospital bed and cried, then looked at shay)
Shane: shay,you okay?
( shay was too terrified to hear him,so he shook her)
Shane: hey,shay what's wrong?
Shay: nothing,I'm alright ( then she added under her breath the words that stuck in her head) there's always more.
Shane: what? ( said shane with a very confused look )
Shay: nothing ( she said as she checked her phone)
Shane: you know ,that was the third time you checked your phone, what's going on?
Shay: nothing, you should check on mom( as she got up and left the room)
Shane: man,I hope she's okay
( shay calls kari)
* conversation*
Shay: hey
Kari: hey,you okay?
Shay: sorta, you have any more texts?
Kari: no,if I had one then you should have one too.
Shay: just freaked out from the last one
Kari: oh yeah, still got that phrase stuck in my head
Shay: which one?
Kari: " there's always more"
Shay: same
Kari: I've never been this scared before
Shay: me either
Kari: I'm sorry about your mom
Shay: it's fine
Kari: is she okay?
Shay: I don't know
Kari: who could've done that to her?
Shay: that's what I'm thinking
Kari: wait,I have a text
Shay: me too, I'll tell you it later
( then she reads the text )
Unknown: " don't bother finding out who hurt your mom,because you'll never find out and just end up being next"
( she looks around to make sure no one is following her)
Shane: hey
Shay: hey
Shane: do you want to spend the night here or do you want to go home?
Shay: I just wanna stay here but I'll get my clothes, okay I'll be back. ( then she walks out of the hospital)
