YEAR: 2036
Five years have passed since that dreadful week, that week when he and all others had a long list of losses. Netherlands was no more, neither was Belgium or Germany, everything was gone; yet there is hope, Taured is in making, one of the largest country. A Russia in area, A Japan in technology, A Greece in administration, An Indonesia in population. The survivors luckily consisted of both genders, the temporary government demanded multiple mating to be done even if the couple weren't husband and wife, and it was demanded only after a temporary set of physicians were trained for medical attending. Even 55 year old Dmitri Gauges had to go into Rose Levi who was just 35 year old stranger to him. When he did it, he was guilty, it was that he didn't meet his wife and kids after the disaster, he never got a confirmation about it, he was feeling guilty as he feared he was cheating his wife. Rose was cool all the while, she surprisingly had never known a man till then, no one wanted to go in with her, she wasn't very fair to look upon, not a very desirable person, not even for a glance. There was a time when men around her desired her but she was always of a high mind till she got into a fire accident that took away all her beauty. Men who till then had walked behind her, began to talk behind her, it took her years to recover, but as she recovered physically, she deteriorated mentally. After a while, she shut herself in her villa, she talked to no one, she went out rarely and that too wearing burka. She hated the world around her, everyone so kept away from her. When during that week everyone had someone or something to lose, she had none, yet she survived, which she thought of as a curse. She was found by some rescue operations, she stayed with the other women survivors, when the mating order came, they were allotted a particular man and she feared her man would reject her. Surprisingly, Dmitri didn't make any comments on her, he was silent about her appearance but during the intercourse, he always whispered a name, Diana, which she assumed was his wife's or lost girlfriend's name. She didn't what he called her because he gave her all of him, so sincerely and passionately, and in the same manner, she took it from him what she was given. When the tests told her she was pregnant, she was extremely happy, she was going to be a mother, nothing could give her more joy than the news of her being a mother. She decided to marry the kid's father but then feared he wouldn't agree to that, yet she asked him. He promised her everything except a family life, he wasn't prepared for yet another family life, but then he got her a residence next to his house, which she happily took, at least she could see him once in a while. All her hopes were upturned when he was taken away to some other place where the government took care of him but before he left, he consented to her request to fill her for one last time.

"While there are some scars that we might wish to hide because the spiritual or mental pain they represent is far greater than the physical pain caused to us at the time of injury, there are also some scars that we want to see whenever we look in the mirror. Because these scars serve as a valuable reminder of our past. My scars teach me that I am stronger than what caused them."
