Peter and Regina walked out of the family court, their daughter walking following them behind Regina's back. They didn't wait for any exchange of words. Regina got into her car with their daughter and drove away, Peter watched them go. As he walked into his room he saw the ransacked cupboards and shelves. The broken plates, the shattered cups, broken frames and lot other chaos were on the floor. Peter bent and picked up a picture of the three of them, looked at it for a few seconds and splintered it back down again giving all his rage. He walked out of the house immediately, he couldn't be in there no longer.
Regina dropped their daughter at her mother's care and drove away. She parked into the porch of a house. Inside, she got into the shower, had a wash and draped a towel around her. In the same state, she got out of the shower, and a hand pulled her, it was a man, James. They got on the bed and began to make love, she smelled his bad smelling beer yet didn't hesitate to canoodle him fervidly. Five minutes and she pushed him away, I just got divorced, she told him. We've been doing it for five years now, he replied stroking her orbs. She didn't give him any response to that, she didn't want to make a fool of Peter further, he deserved someone better than her she believed. Regina and James were high school lovers, but James got locked up behind bars under the false accusation of a murder; by the time, he was acquitted, she was carrying for already five months. It was only after her daughter was an year old, she began to cheat on Peter. Peter didn't allow her at first to start MBA classes, but then later agreed when her mother moved into the same city on her insistence. She would go for classes an hour early, pick up James and head for classes. Every now she got a free time, she rushed to her GMC to make love. Once her course was over, she began to work, became independent and decided to put an end to her hypocrisy. She believed she was doing the right thing as no one can fake love all through life. Even as she kissed her lover, she thought of Peter, he was a great playboy.
