Suicide Squad (Billdip au)

Chapter 5

(Dipper pov)

"This should be fun." I say as I take out my pistol making sure the safety is off.

"Fun?" Flag asks as he raises an eyebrow confused.

"These things are like the creatures from Resident Evil 7, we're in our own zombie video game. How is this not fun to anyone?" I laugh to myself as I climb on top of a car and fire a few shots in the air to get the creatures focus on me. "Hey fucktards! Come get me!" I look back at the others seeing them all watching me. "Unless your going to just stand there and watch me like a bunch of pedophilic perverts, I suggest you get your butts moving and kill some of these things. You people are crazy if you think I'll be able to handle all of them by myself." I turn back to the monsters shooting the nearest ones with my pistol as everyone else separates to deal with them. I'm only able to get glimpses of some of the group but one thing I for sure notice is Deadshot getting on a car not too far from me and shooting the creatures as well, not even missing a single fucking shot. "Holy damn...." I mumble to myself.

I point my pistol at one that's close to the car I'm on but when I pull the pistol the it clicks empty. "Fuck this." I toss my gun up into the air as the creature climbs on the hood of the car and taking a two handed grip on the bat I smash it into the creature's head. I keep doing it until its head crumbles and it stops moving altogether. I catch my pistol and replace the empty ammo clip with a full one from my pocket.

"Dipper!" I look over seeing Deadshot calling my name and he points to Flag who is being overwhelmed by two of the creatures."

"So what? They're doing our job for us."

"He dies we die!"

I groan annoyed that I had to save him." Fine." I jump off the car and fire some shots at one of them getting its attention. It charges at me as I run at it. I throw my bat up into the air and slide under the thing's legs, rolling onto my feet once I'm behind it. I catch my bat and smash the thing's head apart before going to the over one and again smashing its head to pieces before helping Flag to his feet.

"Thanks, I-"

"Don't. I only did it because I didn't want my head to get blown up because you got your stupid ass killed." I turn around and smash another one to the ground and continue smashing its head until Deadshot grabs the bat from my hands. "Hey!"

"It's dead, Dipper."

"But it moved." I kick the crumbled parts of the thing's head. "See?"

He rolls his eyes handing me my bat back as he turns to Flag. "What the hell are these things?"

"I'm not at liberty to say." Flag simply responds.

"That thing is wearing a Rolex. Were this people?"

"I already told you I'm-"

"Not at liberty to say. Yeah, we get it." I cut him off shouldering my bat. "Can we just keep moving? Standing around here arguing about it is fucking boring?" Without another word we start walking again. I hang back and walk next to Diablo noticing he didn't help fight those creatures. "How come you didn't help? From what I heard you were pretty much a badass before getting locked up."

"I'm done with fighting. I'd rather die before raising my fists again. It's better for everyone this way."

"Whatever you say." Feeling a vibration in my pocket I take out my phone out seeing it's a text from Bill saying 'I'm close. Be ready.' I smile softly to myself as I read the message.

"Your boyfriend?" I quickly hide the phone realizing Diablo read the message. "He close to getting you free I'm guessing."

"Who told you?"

"You did. Just now." He walks ahead.

"Fuck." I mumble quietly to myself.

I stop outside a store window and see two necklaces on display, a yellow triangle and a blue pinetree. Smiling to myself I swing my bat and smash the window glass shattering to the ground. "What the fucking hell is wrong with you?" Flag scolds as I grab the necklaces.

"What did you expect from someone as crazy as me?" I give him a crazy smile as I tilt my head and giggle. He rolls his eyes as he keeps walking. I put the yellow triangle necklace around my neck and put the blue pinetree necklace into my pocket to give to Bill when I see him again before I go back to following the group.
