Sophie- Down

I run, with Sandor yelling at me by my side. 

Eventually, I pass him.

I sprint past the pens,

of animals at my home.

I run past Grady and Edaline, 

who are feeding the animals.

I run, not paying attention to where I am going.

I trip, and fall.

I find myself falling, 

Down,  

              Down,

                           Down,

                                        and hit the ground.

I look around.

I'm in a cave.

I see Oralie.

She is hanging,

with a rope around her neck.

I stifle a scream.

She isn't hanging by the rope, but it's obvious she will be if I don't cooperate.

As I look around, I see more people.

All my friends,

Fitz, Biana, Keefe, Linh, and more.

Keefe's mom walks out from behind him. 

She wants something I could never give her, 

Something that I would give my life for rather than give it up.

I'm drowning, 

                            sinking, 

                                             falling, 

                                                            slowly dropping, 

                                                                                             down.
