Chapter 2: Him

(Eunji's POV)

The morning went by fast.

The next thing I knew, it was already lunch and surprisingly Mijin is in all my classes so far.

Mijin quickly jumped up and turned around to look at me. The face she was making was letting me know that she was obviously excited.

Really excited.

"Hey Eunji! You should sit with me during lunch, I can't wait to introduce you to my friends! Oh and don't worry, none of them are like..Sohyun." she gave a disgusted look at the girl who tripped me earlier.

"Who is she?" I didn't really need to ask since she did trip me, I can get the idea that she is like the queen of the school and I am supposed to obey her. 'Yeah well lets just see if that actually happens.'

Mijin and I were about to go to lunch when Sohyun and her little group walked right into us. Three girls covered in a lot of makeup with little bows and rinestones on their uniform.

And I'm pretty sure that when I checked the strict rules online, that wasn't allowed.

In the middle of them was, Sohyun.

Her hair was straight mid-back length dark brown and a lot of makeup. She was wearing black high heels and you could smell her cheap perfume a mile away.

"Yah! Watch where you're going! you almost made me fall! I could have messed up my uniform!" She glared at us.

It was silent.

I think she wanted me to answer but instead I just ignored her, grabbed Mijin's hand, and pushed passed them. I knew leaving from a battle scene wasn't a good idea but it was the only thing I thought of at the time. And besides, I couldn't stand to even look at her anymore.

"what was that?" I heard Mijin say from behind me. "I don't know?! It was better than talking to her at the time." I shrugged.

"I guess." Mijin agreed.

When we walked in the cafeteria, I looked at Mijin who suddenly looked really happy again. she looked at me and smiled.

"they're right over there." She said as she looked off into the cafeteria. I couldn't tell who she was looking at.

she grabbed my hand and walked to their table.

"Eunji, I would like you to meet my friends! This is SooHee, Hyemi, Jungsook and Yuri. Guys, meet Eunji!"

I awkwardly waved and they smiled and waved back.

"Hi Eunji! I hope we can become really close friends!' said Hyemi.

There's that word again. friend. This school is definitely friendly.

I sat down between Hyemi and Mijin. It was quiet at first as they started eating but then Jungsook started to talk.

"Uh not meaning to be rude or anything, but are you new here because I haven't seen you around here before?" Jungsook said while looking at me.

"Oh yea-" I was cut off by Mijin.

"Yeah she is! Today is her first day going to this school." She said with a smile.

"Ahh." Jungsook nodded and continued eating.

"that makes much more sense." Hyemi said.

I smiled. I looked down at the table. I didn't know what I feeling but it for sure wasn't good. 'I can't take this anymore.' I got up and went straight for the bathroom.

I just need a quick breather.

"Buh-" I fell on the ground. There was a slight aching pain in my shoulder.

I looked up at what I ran into and saw a boy. He looked pissed. He looked like he was also about to cry. But in a wierd way I felt like i've seen him before.

He completely ignored me and didn't make any eye contact as he got right back up and stormed off before I could say anything.

Not even a second later, I was left awkwardly dumbfounded on the floor trying to figure out what had just happened.

After I got up I kept walking to look for a girls bathroom. when I walked in, I heard a girl crying in a stall so I quietly walked to the stall next to it. I got on the toliet seat to see who it was.

I gasped really loud and quickly covered my mouth afterwards once I realized how loud it actually was.

SOHYUN!!

I quickly got down and sat on the seat. The crying stopped but then kept going. A few minutes past and I was waiting for Sohyun to get out. When she got out I heard her say something.

"Pabo. Why did I do that! Now he definetly doesn't like me! Ughh! Why did he have to see me like that! He will break up with me for sure! Ugh, why Jimin, Why?"

My eyes widened and my heart dropped when I heard her say his name. All of a sudden everything just stopped. No it can't be. There's no way on earth I would ever see him again!!

Hello!^^ I apologize for not updating, I really do. Lately I have been getting really busy with school work...and I will admit that I have been procrastinating just a little bit. 😅 But the good thing is that I'm not anymore so I am going to try and update tomorrow too.
