it's either learn history, or be history. (professor x reader)

chapter one : welcome one and all!

march 12, 2021. that was the date. you were going to be a special guest on a little show,
Puppet History.
you were quite excited to meet Shane Madej and Ryan Bergara, but most importantly, the professor. that little soft fuzzy man really caught your eye. you didn't want to admit it, but you had a bit of a crush on him.
as embarrassing as it was, it was true. every-time you'd watch puppet history your face would grow warm after seeing the blue creature. that wasn't the point though. you were there to have a good time and laugh a bit, maybe even learn something! not worry about the professor, even though he was teaching.
you arrive around 12:45 am, a little bit before the lesson started. you got to meet Ryan and talk with him a bit, and you two actually were pretty alike.
then.. you met the professor.
"hello! i'm the professor! pleasure to meet you! what's your name?"
he says to you, kindly.
"hi! pleasure to meet you too! my name is y/n"
"that's a nice name, y/n" he repeats. you're obviously blushing, and he notices.
so does Ryan. Ryan sees you're all blushy and red for the professor, and like the little child he mentally is, ridicules you for it.
"awww! look who's got a crush on the professor" he says playfully.
your face grows redder but you reply with:
"aw Ryan! i knew you liked the professor! you guys would be so cute!"
his face grows a little red with embarrassment, but with a playful expression. your reply shocked him but he was impressed. you could take a joke or two. he, on the other hand, couldn't imagine being even remotely involved with that blue puppet, not like that.
