*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*

I groan as I roll over slamming my alarm cock probably a little too hard. Again with the waking up! Did I ever mention how much I hate it? I walk over to my bathroom to start applying my makeup. I love makeup, seriously my favorite part of the day is when I put on makeup. Then I straighten my hair, throw on jeans, a hard rock cafe t-shirt, black high top converse, and I'm out the door.

I have 3 other siblings going to the same high-school as me. My oldest sister Brenda, is a senior varsity cheerleader, kind of insanely popular. My other sister Emily is a senior but is younger than Brenda by 11 months, shes a theatre and choir prodigy, everyone expects me to be just as talented as her this year. Finally my brother, Phillip's a sophomore who's tired of high-school and graduating next year as a junior. He plays baseball, also very popular. Then there's me. Last year I was choir president and got 1st chair in the Region Choir competition, but this year I'm really leaning towards theatre because its more fun being able to express yourself on stage without having to stand still or sing songs no one can understand. There's a musical coming up in my school called Into the Woods and no freshman has ever gotten a main role in something like this. I don't know if I'm going to audition but right now I have bigger things on my mind. Like how i haven't spoken to my best friend since 6th grade, Brooke Matterson, Since last weekend. She didn't want to go to homecoming, I honestly don't know why, and she was sick on Monday.

L: hey I have a lot to tell you!

B: likeee??

L: meet me before 1st?

B: sure by the front stairs

I rush into school because by the time my perfect cheerleader sister (note the sarcasm) gets ready we have 15 minuets to get there.

"Hey!" I call out just when Brooke starts to walk away. "Lauren that took you long enough!" Brooke complains. I fill her in on what happened at homecoming, how Elisabeth and Jason broke up, and how we've been talking. "so you got the hots for Jason now?" Brooke nudges me as we make our way to our 1st period we have together. "n-no I don't, were just friends." I blush. "yeah alright" Brooke laughs as we take our seats. I was about to say something back when the bell rings and our (hot) English teacher comes in. Lets just say I don't have trouble paying attention in his class.

I'm looking/staring at Mr. christian when my phone vibrates.

J: hey do you wanna sit with me at lunch?

why do i get butterflies when Jason texts me?

L: yeah sure, where do you sit?

J: don't worry, ill find you ;-)

This might be the first time I've ever been excited to eat our lunch food.
