6:30am-
6...5...4... the middle-aged woman counted waiting for that sound.
The echo of an alarm rang through Stefania's bedroom, and more annoyingly her ears. She quickly pulled down the bedsheets that were sprawled around her face. It was winter, so it was a little cold, just what the Italian hated. It didn't remind her of home sadly. Stefania twisted her body to her bedside table where her phone was laying, buzzing and playing one of those annoying tunes she heard every morning. Alongside the busy traffic outside her window.
It was quite the debate in her head as to whether she would press the ever tempting orange snooze button, which illuminated the screen in front of her.
She decided to press it.
6:39am-
Those 9 minutes came around too quickly for Stefania, but she decided against feeling more self- defeat and chose to turn on the bedside lamp to her right.
It flooded her bedroom with light. She was surrounded by plain white walls filled with small, minimalistic paintings and photos of the people she held the closest to her heart. Even though Stefania's mum had passed a few years ago, she still filled the cozy space with her presence through heartfelt photos and endearing drawings. It gave the brown haired woman something to remind her of home.
Even though she has moved away from her small Italian village a long time ago, she still missed it and always felt like she could never visit enough. Nevertheless, the one topic always on her fathers mind was whether she has gotten a partner in her growing age. She hadn't, and Stefania had always brushed away the topic when her father brought it up. But maybe it wasn't far from her mind either...
Stefania pulled herself out of the trance and focused back on the now, the cold early morning that she faced.
6:42am-
Being an actress sadly meant there are many early starts, and many late nights but Stefania didn't mind as it was the dream that she always wished would come true. Even though her mama wasn't there to experience it, she wasn't there for Stefania to call when she first found out she got the part on Greys Anatomy she always felt her with her. In sprit at least.
8:05am-
Stefania strolled into work with Jeff her dog in toe. I know the name might be deceiving but Jeff is a girl, Stefania wanted to add a bit of difference to her life.
The Italian actress currently felt like her character needed a new storyline, and luckily the writers of Greys Anatomy thought the same. That is why Stefania walked into work earlier than usual this morning, as she was getting introduced to her new love interest. Whether or not it will work out will be another question. Greys tends to have a streak of ruining happy relationships sadly.
As Stefania strolled into the writers room, she felt a rush of nerves come over her. She didn't particularly know why, as she usually views herself as a very calm and collected individual, especially at work. Nevertheless, she carried on walking towards the large oval table at the end of the room.
"Stefania! Lovely to see you this morning how are you?"- says one of the writers cheerfully
"Great thank you, just waiting to meet my new love interest I guess"- she said with a small chuckle
That's when Stefania slowly panned the large table in front of her and noticed an added chair which she can not recall being there in past meetings. She slowly looked up from the floor, and saw a nice pair of trainers. Good start she thought nonchalantly. However, as she got further up the mysterious persons features butterflies started to gain in the pit of her stomach. Stefania never usually got these feelings so knew it must be serious.
The Italian actress finally locked eyes with the most gorgeous, yet piercingly powerful gaze and a gush of emotions filled her head. Stefania thought to herself "she is gorgeous"
A noise startles her out of her trance.
"Stefania, meet your new co-star Danielle Savre"
