The call

(3rd person pov)

"How in the nine realms did you break loki like that?" Thor asked his voice booming off the walls.

"Yeh we've been trying for months and you've been here for 2 days and you've already gained his trust!" Natasha confirmed "how?"

"You try mind tricks or aggressiveness, whereas you just need to treat him like he's a human, someone who needs protecting," Arya responded looking through the window. "Are you expecting visitors?"

"Uh no i don't think so?" Tony questioned following her gaze.

"Well you've got incoming, helicopter?" She questioned. "That doesn't make sense Hydra would usually use jets and sheild has their quinjets,"

"Do you know anyone who could be coming for you? Enemies? Friends?" Wanda asked carefully.

"Just a sec," Grace whispered before clicking on a contact and whispering a quick 'cmon' signalling for them to pick up.
"Hey, is he there? No? Do you know where he is? K. Mhm, right. No im fine, bye,"

"So? Do we need to get prepared or not?" Steve questioned.

"I- um I-I don't know..." Grace admitted her gaze fixed on the cabinets in front of her. "I need some air," She excused before running up the stairs straight to the roof.

"Do you think she's ok?" Wanda questioned.

"I'm not sure but whoever she was calling sure had an impact her," Sam answered.

"Sir, nick fury is requesting a call, should i accept?" Jarvis's voice rang through the speaker.

"Yes accept," Tony answered.

"Avengers!" Fury's voice boomed. "How's Arya doing with Loki?"

"Good, great actually! She got him to show emotion other than anger." Clint reported

"Good," he paused for a moment before continuing. "Has Arya had a call recently?"

"Yeh actually, she just got one and ran to the roof." Pietro responded

"Sounds about right, maybe you should get check on her,"

"Me? Why?" He asked

"Just do it" Fury demanded to which Pietro disappeared in a blue flash. "Keep Arya in your sight from now on, someone close to her just died. There are people after her now, protect her at ask costs!"

"Not to be rude but- why? Why is she so special? Shes just an agent!" Tony argued earning small scoffs and glares from the others.

"She is NOT just an agent Stark and I will remind you that she is probably more qualified than you and if I wanted to I could have her replace you and she wouldn't create a murder bot that NEARLY DESTROYS THE PLANET!" He yelled the last part. "She is important!"

"Ok jeez I get it!" Tony defended holding his hands up in surrender.

"Anything you would like to inform me of?" Fury questioned.

"Yes actually there was a helicopter circling the building a while ago but it could just be newspapers trying to get pictures of the avengers," Natasha responded.

"Keep an eye out, report anything," Fury responded.

"Will do," Nat responded.

"Why did you think Pietro would be good to talk to Arya?" Wanda questioned. "He's not the best at making people feel better,"
