It was week after Denki and I exposed ourselves as the UA traitors and it was getting colder signaling that winter was coming. "Mizu" Toga called "come here a second, Denki and Dabi are fighting again." I groaned and got up walking over to the boys who were arguing about god knows what now. "Guys" I said as they looked at me "shut up or I'll freeze you both in water until it melts in spring." They both looked at me and stopped walking to opposite sides of the room. I walked back to my room and laid on my bed. I decided to open the other texts from everyone and they all said the same as Sero's except one from Mina.

I rolled my eyes and decided to just watch some videos and relax before Toga and Spinner decided to bother me again asking to either play games with them or help Toga obsess over Deku. I was watching a video about sushi making when Denki walked in. "Heh, I remember when Bakugou would make us sushi, he always complained about how much of a pain it was, I'm sure he secretly liked it though." I smiled and nodded "Yeah, and Mina would always thank him while her mouth was full and Sero would always look away as so not be grossed out." I smiled at the memory. Dabi and Spinner knocked then walked in and looked at us "Good you're both here, get ready we have a mission." I groaned getting up and heading to the small closet I have. "Get out" I said to the three boys as they did so. I got dressed in all black and went out to the room by the front door, Dabi soon joined me in his usual mission clothes and Denki in his hero costume just with all black. I rolled my eyes and headed out. "So it looks like we're meeting someone at a café, really?" Dabi nodded as Denki only shrugged.
We all walked in and I sat between Dabi and Denki looking over the news on my phone and ordering a slice of chocolate cake with some strawberry lemonade. Spinner soon came in "Could've waited for me guys" I looked at him not moving my head "Sure, and he could've missed this meeting too." He growled and I smiled. "I'm so scared of an overgrown lizard, save me Denki." I said draping my arm over my head leaning on him. He rolled his eyes and pushed me off him. I smiled and looked around, but as I did I noticed some people from UA walk in. "Shit, Denki, get down!" I whisper shouted. He looked at me confused until I nodded my head to the group of 1-A students that walked in. "It's Mina, Jirou, Bakugou, Sero, and Deku?" I nodded and we kept our heads down; but as luck would have it, they sat right behind us. As our table was quiet, I decided to listen in on their conversation. It was mostly about school, until one subtle detail struck me as odd, Mina sounded bored, Jirou wasn't talking about a new playlist she usually makes every week, Bakugou sounded sad, Deku sounded uninterested and Sero wasn't talking at all. 'What? I thought they were okay, the hell? Maybe a bad day at school.' I thought until Sero chirped in saying "Roses, blue ones were recently made, they remind me of her eyes." Everyone went silent and Denki looked over at me as Dabi did the same. I put on my mask and asked Dabi to move. As he did I got up and went to the restroom. I threw my mask off as soon as I got in and seeing it empty I stood over the sink taking deep breaths and cursing the tears that slid down my cheeks into the sink. "Stupid, shit, why now? It would've been netter if I never saw them again."
As the door swung open I spun my head to see Mina and Jirou. We all kinda just stood there staring at each other in shock. I stared to run and ran through them as the started to chase me. "Sero! It's Mizu!" Mina called as I turned the coroner. Dabi, Spinner, and Denki shot up as well as the three UA boys and they looked at me. "Time to go!" Dabi yelled and grabbed Denki's collar dragging him behind him as he ran. Spinner ran after them ad I jumped over everyone, I almost landed when Sero's tape caught my leg ad I fell to the ground. "Agh!" Dabi looked back at me and said something I couldn't hear. I watched as they all ran into Kurogiri's portal, Denki saw me finally and mouthed something to me. I nodded and stopped fighting back as Sero wrapped me up the rest of the way and Deku called the police. As we waited for the police to arrive they tried to question me about the league. I didn't speak I just turned away when they got in my face, the most asked question was why. I laughed and sat up suddenly looking at them. "Why? Yes, ask me why I owe them my life after you so called hero's abandoned me and treated my case like it was nothing. Left me saying "She's old enough to care for herself." A middle schooler. Hahaha, oh how rich it is." I stood up still wrapped in tape as they stepped back "You know, Toga the one obsessed with Deku saved me, brought me to their hideout and they took me in, like a true hero. You all just care about image and saving the ones with potential, right? What a sick world this is, but really, thank you." I smiled at them "Let's make a deal. I let the authorities take me and question me. I answer one question and escape the next day, by then you'll have no idea until it's reported. By then I win, or if I don't escape you win and I answer all questions, deal?" They looked at me and of course Bakugou blindly accepted. "Good boy, now we just wait until I decide to talk." I smirked as he realized his mistake, they don't know when I'll reply if I even decode to. Everyday living in fear and anxiety. Not even a second later the police came in and took me away.
As I was released from the tape and chained up. I was placed in the back of a police van as everyone in the café was questioned. As we arrived at the station I was placed in a room with a camera. "I assume this is being broadcasted?" I said allowed as a voice came out of a speak box replying with a "Yes, and in live time so anything that happens cannot be cut or edited." I smiled "Thank you." I smiled at the camera and said "Hello to everyone watching I'm assuming you all already know me, so I won't waste my breath telling you all. I only have a little time before they come in and question me, but I have a deal to hold up so I hope you all are ready to wait." A little bit later of waiting and trying to ignore the camera a man came in with a file and a clip board. "Okay we're goi-" I cut him off "question me about the league, how I'm connected to them, what our goal is and how we plan to achieve it." He nodded nervously and sat down. "Lets begin" I nodded. "So, you were recently attending at UA high school correct?" I nodded. "What does the league have in mind for the hero's in training there?" I looked away not answering. "Come on, answer the question." I shook my head. All of a sudden he sighed and I was shocked. "What?" I looked at him and he held up a button. "Every time you don't answer a question, honestly, I'm going to send a shock of electricity to your chains and handcuffs, it increases each time. As seeing by your quirk, it can either be really effective or only subtle shocks, your choice." I looked a him seething with anger "The fuck?! This is like a.....slow executioner method." He sent me a sickening smile "Correct, it seems you did learn something after all." He went back to his normal expression "Now I'll ask you a different question now" he looked over his clipboard and smiled, he looked at me and asked "where is the rest of te league located, exactly located?" I looked at the camera and back at him "Like I'll tell you." I was shocked again. This went on for a few more hours, me being shocked and him getting annoyed that I wasn't answering anything. "Final question, why did you let us take you when you could've easily escaped?" I looked at him and sat back "Easy, if you're busy with me, you won't find them." I smiled as I wasn't shocked. The man stood up and threw everything on the table in anger. "You're sensitive to cold and heat right?" he asked. I nodded "Yes but I don't see how that's a relatable question." He opened the door and in came the pro-hero Subzero. I looked at her in fear as she activated her quirk. "Answer from the top, no answer? Gets colder, simple." her thick Russian accent said and I looked over at he camera again saying with a slight shiver "I hope you're all happy, you put an incident person to death." The camera was shut off and the questions began again.
AN: So I hope you all liked this, sorry if it went fast and a bit off topic I was writing this in the middle of school work. Also if anyone has made a hero with a subzero quirk please let me know so I could give them credit. I don't want it to seem like I stole anything.
