Chapter 7: Homesick

I woke up and looked around "What? Where am I?" "You're in the infirmary dear" I heard a voice say. I looked to my side and smiled, it was recovery girl along with Sero, Mina, and Shoji. "Hey guys, is school over?" I asked and they all nodded. "Oh....oh no, I-I have to go!" I panicked getting all my things together and rushing. "Wait, Mizu." I looked at Sero and nodded "Yes?" He looked at Mina and Shoji who nodded and he asked "Who's this "them" you and Denki were talking about." I stiffened and took a deep breath. "Sero, I can't tell you that" I took a deep breath and continued with "and neither can Denki." He and Mina looked at Shoji who only shook his head no. He then patted my shoulder gently saying "Its okay Yoshiro-san, we can wait until you both are ready to tell us." I nodded softly "Thanks Shoji, and sorry Sero and Mina." They shook their heads and hugged me saying "Its okay Mizu" "Yeah" Sero started "we shouldn't rush either of you to tell us." I smiled as they let go and we all left. As we walked out of the gate I saw Dabi in his usual disguise. "Oh" I said "that's my... cousin, I guess he came to see if I was okay." They all waved as I ran to him acting like I was saying hi and waved bye to everyone as I walked off with him.

~At the Base~

I walked in behind Dabi and sat on the couch by the door. "So since I'm late, he sent you thinking I was running away?" He looked over at me and nodded. "Look, Denki and I got into a fight and since I'm undercover, I had to let him win or else my cover would be blown." I heard a laugh and looked over at the doorframe where Toga was laughing. "Someone is in trouble with handyman~" she sang. I rolled my eyes and scoffed "Let him be mad, I'm tired, I'm going to sleep and if Kaminari comes while I'm asleep. Punch him for me." I winked and went to my room slightly giving Toga a glance that her smile faltered at. I walked to my door but was stopped by someone clearing their throat. "Ahem, look puddle about today I-" I cut them off by opening my door and walking inside making sure they heard me lock my door. They sighed and kept walking to the door heading out of the hideout, I didn't feel like talking or even looking at Kaminari right now. I sat on my bed and decided to play some music, as I hit play I stood up and just started to dance a bit and sing a bit to the song playing. I started to smile and do some little spins and throw in a pretend partner here and there. As the song finished and I stopped I heard someone slow clapping behind me. I groaned and turned around, but took a step back seeing who it was. "Oh, hey Spinner, I thought you were Shiggy." He spun a key around his finger that I guess he unlocked my door with. "No, but I am here about that. He seems really mad and wants to speak with you, alone." I nodded and pat his shoulder as I walked by "It was nice knowing you." I smiled turning the corner to his "office" and stepped inside closing the door behind me. "Oh, Mizu. You know, this little thing about school, seems I have let you have too much freedom....you will stay here for the next few days. No school, you can only come out of your room when Dabi or myself let you out, and no phone." I looked at him in shock. "What?! You're not m-" "I'm not your what?" he asked; he walked over and held my neck with only four fingers hovering his ring finger over a spot "Not your boss? You gave me your loyalty, your life is mine. I can replace you in a second. Don't forget that." he let go and walked away back to a random seat. "That's all, you may leave and Kurogiri has already collected your phone from your room." I growled and left the room. 

I walked back to my room and laid on the cold floor trying to decide what to do next. A few hours have passed and it seemed everyone went to bed or to their own rooms for the night. I got up and checked my door, which was thankfully unlocked. I opened it to not make a lot of noise and tip-toed my way to the bar and into the drawer Kurogiri always covers for some reason. There was a lock, I looked around for a key in the empty wine bottles; as soon as I moved a red wine bottle I heard a little rattle. "Bingo." I took the key and opened the drawer, I picked up some papers and read through them "Wait, this is ab-" I was cut off by a gravely voice asking "What do you think your doing, Yashiro?"
