Part 18

Sarah's POV
I have my back to class and am writing on the board when I hear.
"Hey Miss Paulson , when's my turn in the teachers toilets"
I turn around in shock to what I just heard .
"Excuse me Mr brown , what was that?"
I feel my body fill with panic I quickly glance at (y/n) and see she's just as panicked.
"I said when's my turn in the teachers toilets. I heard (y/n) had quite the experience" he says turning to face (y/n). Oh god people knew , I could just said that it was a rumour and all fiction. Yes that's a good idea . But before I can try explain anything and calm the situation.
I see (y/n) practically pounce onto Jack punching him more than once , the rage plastered on her face.
"DON'T EVER TALK LIKE THAT ABOUT HER" she shouts out.
I run over and pull her off , I'm furious now.
"(Y/n) get out of my class NOW and wait outside!!" I shout . She walks out the class , I needed to sort Jack out as he's nose was all bloody .
"The rest of you get back to taking notes" I say helping Jack of the floor. They all just stare at us. "Did I stutter . Get on with your notes . NOW!" I say they all sit down and begin tor write .
I walk out the class helping Jack and (y/n) had hit him a good few times . She was sat on the floor by the lockers , I'll talk to her in a minute .
I just walk past and take Jack to the nurse , unfortunately it's right next to cates office and she saw his face .
"What in the name happened here" cate says coming into the nurses office but before I could say anything Jack says with a look of rage on his face "why don't you ask miss Paulson and her girlfriend"
I was taken aback at what he had just said and didn't realise cate was talking to me.
"Miss Paulson" "MISS PAULSON, in my office now" I snap out of my head and walk to cates office shutting the door behind me.
"What in gods name is that boy on about" cate says glaring at me.
"Cate I can ex-explain" I say stuttering. How could I explain it though . What could I say .
"Well go on" cate says but I just freeze I can feel the tears in my eyes.
"Sarah , I hope it's not what I think this is because you know I will have no choice in the consequences" Cate says with slight sympathy.
"I-I got involved with a student" I say not being able to look at cate .
"Well Miss Paulson I'm really sorry but this is strictly forbidden and you know this . I am not going to take any further action . But you will be fired immediately and the student will be expelled and will not be able to graduate done here" Cate says trying to but stern but with sympathy in her voice .I know she doesn't have a choice and We knew that this would be the consequences.
"Yes cate I fully understand. I will collect all my stuff and dismiss my class . I will talk to (y/n) and explain the situation"
Before I go to leave cate grabs my arm .
"You know I have no choice Sarah , I am truly sorry" she says
"No I'm sorry" I say as I walk out her office . I feel the tears roll down my cheeks but I wiped them away I still had to be in front of my class .
I walk back to my classroom and (y/n) isn't sat outside anymore but I didn't really care .
"Alright class , you are all dismissed early and can go home" I say walking to my desk .
They all pack up there things and walk out except Lilly .
"Miss Paulson" she says .
"Just call me Sarah , I'm not your teacher anymore" I say with a tear rolling down my cheek.
"Sarah, I'm so sorry this happened. (Y/n) really loves you and I know she wouldn't of wanted this to happen" Lilly says.
"Well it did" I snap at Lilly but it wasnt her fault.
"I'm sorry Lilly I didn't mean to snap. Please could you just let me pack my stuff up" I say grabbing all the things from my draws..
"Yes sorry Sarah. Um what is going to happen with (y/n)" she says before she walks out.
"Unfortunately she's expelled and won't be able to graduate here." I say looking up at Lilly
"Oh okay" is all Lilly can say as she leaves the room .
Everyone had now left the room and I had packed up all my stuff , I went out to the car park and got in my car . I just broke down the tears began to fall . What the fuck was I going to do now I had lost one of the best jobs I've had and now had no job.
I saw (y/n) car had already gone , I guessed she had gone home so I drove to her house . We needed to talk about what had happened.
I pulled duo to her house and her car was there. I took a few breaths before I knocked , she didn't answer.
"(Y/n) please open the door" I say knocking again .
The door opens and I walk in sitting on the sofa . I can see the tears rolling down her face .
"Sarah I'm so so sorry " she says coming over and sitting next to me .
"(Y/n) I've lost my job! . We could of dealt with the situation differently. We could of just said it was all fake but no you had to pull that stunt" I say feeling myself getting angry.
"Sarah please I don't know what happened when he said those words it's like I blacked out and the next thing I knew was you pulling me off" she says crying hysterically.
"It's not just your fault it's mine . This relationship was never going to work a teacher and student never works" I say standing up the pain and anger building.
"What are you saying" (y/n) says getting up and cupping my face with her hands .
"I'm sorry but this can't work. I have to go" I say with tears streaming down my face.
"Sarah please , I can't be without you"
"I'm sorry" I say as I walk out.
I get to my car and drive home . My whole body had felt numb I didn't even remember the drive home or getting into my house.
I just went straight upstairs to bed , the tears then fell uncontrollably for hours.
I was just so angry, but I feel terrible I love her and I had just broke her heart. I consider calling her but I know she wouldn't want to talk to me.
I cry until I eventually fall asleep .
