After the scene was cleaned and the body was taken to the morgue, Aiko and the team headed out for lunch. "I don't think I'll be able to eat after seeing her body twisted like that." Taehyung stated, staring at his hamburger. Jimin rolls his eyes while eating his noodles.

"You big baby, you were fine eating bulgogi after seeing a drunk man vomiting his dinner during the public disturbance call." Jungkook pointed out as he grabbed some meat from the grill. Hoseok was not with them. He was with his fiancee, Miyeon. With that information, Aiko was really not eating much and focusing more at writing Lisa's report. Yoongi was about to snatch the tabet when Aiko kicked him in the shin. Yoongi rubs the area with a small pout. "You shouldn't have tried to take her tablet. She's sour because her man is with another woman." Taehyung pointed out, earning a glare from his boyfriend, Jimin. "Tae, don't be insensitive. I know you want to uplift her mood but, that's personal. That's nothing to joke about lightheartedly. Especially with Aiko." Jimin scolded, Taehyung looking at Aiko's glare softening at the sight of his puppy eyes. "It's fine, Tae. I know what you did was harmless but, just don't bring that up again." Aiko said, smiling at Taehyung.

The hybrids and human stare at her with loving gazes. They love Aiko with their whole heart, in a brotherly way. They want to protect her in any way they can. They knew Aiko and Hoseok were dating since they were high school juniors. But it came as a shock that 3 years ago, they suddenly broke up. And it wasn't a pretty sight to see. They wouldn't talk to each other, almost outright ignoring each other. Hoseok would leave work and enjoy his time with Miyeon while Aiko would stay up late in her office. The boys would often be the ones to find her slouched over her desk, sleeping uncomfortably and with red encircling her eyes.

3 years later after the break up and Aiko is still overworking herself. It got to the point Ken was on patrol with her and she fainted due to exhaustion and he took her to see his husband and Aiko's best friend from college, Kim Seokjin. He was a doctor at Seoul Hospital. And he's a nine tailed fox, so when he found out she was brought to the hospital, he was worried to death. Yoongi looks at his cousin, worried for her. He grew up with her. He has been with her through her highest highs and her lowest lows. So, he knew when Aiko was on the brink of fainting from exhaustion. "You have to relax, Ai. That report can wait. We saw the body not even 2 hours ago. Come on and eat before Jin gets here." Yoongi said, pushing her plate towards her. Aiko shakes her head and pushes the plate away. Then, she was smacked in the head harshly with a plastic spoon.

"Sato Aiko, I did not raise you to skip your meals. Put that damn thing away before I bring my sandal up your ass." Aika said with a deathly glare that even Taehyung started eating. They were at the shop, eating their lunch there. Aiko whines while rubbing her head. "Fine." she whines and grabs her plate to start eating. "Wow, even we threatened her with having Bullet chase her and she completely ignores us." Jimin said as he finished his food. Aika smiles and kisses her daughter's forehead. "Well, I do keep my promises." Aika said as she looked at Jimin sweat dropping. "Oh, Yoongi, your mother told me that she wants you to bring her some of the mochis for her today. I already made the basket." Aika said, smiling at Yoongi's eyes glistening with happiness. "They won't survive in the car, I tell you that." Yoongi mumbled as he grabbed another piece of meat.

Aiko sighs at Aika's interaction with the boys. She used to be like that. But not anymore. She was naive back then. Now, her eyes are open to the colorless and cold world. And she seemed to not get back up to the colorful and warm world that everyone else seems to be in. Aiko keeps eating, sighing softly and eating quietly.

Station- 5:00 p.m.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Ai. Please don't overwork yourself." Jimin said as he grabbed his bag. Taehyung was in the car with Bullet, waiting for Jimin. Aiko staples some documents and waves as she walks towards her car with the documents in her hand and her bag. "See you tomorrow, Chim." she said as she got inside the car. Jimin sighs and leaves the station. He sees her car driving into the night. But, it seemed to be in a hurry. He wonders why.
