By the time the pair entered the ruined mansion, most of the inside was destroyed or on fire. The treasure hunters started to break down every door they could find, hoping to find anything of great value. The servants began to fight against the hunters to protect the mansion but to no avail. Some hunters tried to attack Dragon and Asbestos, only to be pushed away by Asbestos's shield.

Asbestos: I knew these guys were desperate for money, but I think this is going too far. Don't you think, Dragon?

Dragon: As a person who has seen how far some people will go for any amount of LMD, I'm not surprised to see this happening right now. It was only a matter of time, and the strange events happening on this island only amplified their desire to leave here with at least some money.

Asbestos: Speaking of which, can you tell me how you figured out that someone's arts are the reason for everything happening here?

All Dragon gave her was a smile and continued to move past all the destruction inside the mansion. Asbestos clicked her tongue and continued to follow him. She kept her shield up in case someone tried to attack her again or protect herself from falling debris. After moving up each floor, the pair eventually reached the 3rd floor of the mansion. Dragon stood still and looked back to face Asbestos.

Dragon: I realized everything happening was the result of arts when we were looking around the farm. Remember how the rumor says that the injuries happening here are either stab wounds or burns? I started to think, why would someone only cause stabs and burns? Why not something more serious?

Asbestos: You have a point. Most art users I come across straight out try to kill rather than cause injuries that heal after a while. But there's no point in doing that here. There's nothing and no one important here.

Dragon: There you go, Asbestos. Why would someone do all this for no gain?

Asbestos went into deep thought, trying to put together what Dragon told her. But her train of thought was interrupted when she saw a small group of hunters trying to open an old door.

Dragon: The answer is beyond the door in front of us. But first, we need to get those people out of the way. Do you want me to handle it, or do you want to smack some more people? Your choice, Asbestos.

Asbestos: I want to see what you can do. I'll watch our backs in case someone tries to attack from behind. Go for it, Dragon! Hey, dumbasses!

The hunters in front of the door looked back and saw the pair making their way towards them. Asbestos and Dragon stood back-to-back, ready for any attack. Asbestos looked over her shoulder and noticed that Dragon stood still as the group of hunters got closer to him. Dragon moved his hands to the katana on his hip, getting ready to draw it at any moment.

Hunter 1: Die, you freak!

Before the hunter could hit Dragon with his sword, he stopped running towards Dragon. The hallway was filled with silence as everyone looked towards the hunter standing still. The hunter turned to his side and found that his right arm was missing.

Hunter 1: What the...?

Before the hunter could finish his sentence, his head suddenly fell off his body. Everyone looked towards Dragon and saw that his hands were still on the sword from his hip as if they never moved in the first place.

Asbestos: Holy!

Hunter 2: Shit!

Hunter 3: Exclamation mark!

The headless body falls to the ground laying in a pool of blood. The remaining hunters started to shake in place and dropped their weapons out of fear. Dragon looked to the shaking hunters and smirked at them, making them even more scared.
