"OMG! THAT'S SO SWEET!" Joy gushed as the girls sat at the table.
Rose opened her mouth to reply but paused at the frozen Lisa, holding her sandwich mid-air and eyes in a daze. She waved her hand in front of her as the girls did the same.
"Is she okay?" Jennie ask, sitting in front of Lisa
"I don't know. She seems to be mentally somewhere..." Joy sat beside her before shaking her friend. "HEY! LISA!"
"Huh?! Wha-?" Lisa woke up and glanced at her friends
"You okay?..."
"Yeah....just.... I'm just tired, that's all." Lisa resumes eating as she mumbled.
Wendy squinted her eyes before a sly smile appeared on her face. She tapped Jennie's shoulder before whispering to her ears. Lisa absentmindedly ate her lunch, oblivious to the girls in front of her.
"Ahem." Jennie coughs. "Lisa, did Boss said or did something to you last night?"
Lisa choked on her water and coughed so hard. Joy stared at her friend, confused, before letting out a cheeky grin. All her friends' attention switch on her as their curiosity reach a peak.
"Wha- *cough* no, wait- *cough* there's- *cough* N-NOTHING HAPPENED!" Lisa said as she stood up from her sit taking her co-worker's attention. Her sudden proclamation brought her to reality as she slowly sat down, ears slowly turned to red from embarrassment. "Nothing happened, I-I swear..."
"Ohh... my guts says the opposite." Jisoo teased as Tzuyu chuckled. The girls continued to rain questions to Lisa as she crouched and hurriedly finish her food, more like stuffing them inside.
"Nofin haperfd (Nothing happened)!" Lisa shouted with her mouth full before grabbing her bag and running away.
"EH?! WA-WAIT LISA!! WE'RE NOT DONE YET!!" The girls scream as they chased their runaway friend. Jennie and Wendy remained as they watch at their hopeless friends.
"Wen, what do you think happened between the two last night?" Jennie asks, putting away her lunch box.
"You wanna bet?" Wendy said with a cheeky smile
"I bet 50 for Boss to ask Lisa a week from now."
"I bet 50 for Boss to confront Lisa 5 days from now."
"Deal." Both girls shake their hands, not knowing that Wendy's prediction would happen.
In the hallway, Lisa ran with all her might as she passed her brother and his friends.
"Hey, Lisa! No running in the hallway!" Bambam yelled
"Woah! Lisa, you can run on your heels like a runner!" Jackson cheered as he turned to his friends. "Should I do that as a challenge to my youtube channel? Man, That'll be dope!"
"If you break your ankle, don't bother calling me to take you to the hospital or to help you," Mark said
"Sorry! I'm in a hurry!" Lisa yelled then turn around to her brother, "Don't tell the girls you saw me!" before running away.
"What?!" Bambam ask
"Wow! She can run."
"LISA! YOU HAVE MY RESPECT!" Jackson claps his hands as his friends rolled their eyes.
Not far from them, they can hear a group of girls yelling Lisa's name. The boys turned confusion on their faces as Rose, Jisoo, Tzuyu, Joy, Yeri, Irene, and Seulgi slowly stop beside them, gasping for air. The boys turned their heads in the front as Lisa sharply turned a corner and disappeared.
