26: Confirmation

Sensing that they were quite a bit far from the party, Lucas stop as anger covered his whole body. Not walking far from her boss, Belle stop and quickly took a step back as she prepared herself from the wolf clothed in sheep's skin.

"Belle."

"Mr. Lucas, I-"

A loud sound echoed throughout the dark and narrow hallway. Baring with people, the sound was so loud and crisp that it scared some of the birds that were sleeping to wake up and be startled.

Belle, held in her reddened cheeks as she forcefully stop her tears from falling down. In one of the corner of the pillar, behind Lucas, one of Jungkook's men hid as quiet as possible without alarming the enemy.

"Didn't I tell you to behave?! What you have done today had greatly embarrassed and humiliated me!"

Lucas, gone with his polite image as CEO, yelled with anger. Belle cowered as much as she can as she tried to reason out and justified her actions.

"I just wanted him to look at me! What's wrong with that?!"

"What's wrong? How many times did I tell you to stay the fuck away from him and you even have the audacity to cause trouble with Lisa. Who ordered you?"

"Lisa this! Lisa that! I bet she doesn't even know you fell in love with her! What's the use of falling in love with a shrew woman who doesn't even that you love her?! I love Jungkook and you love that slut, if we join forces together, we can get the person we love? Isn't that right? They say, follow your heart, and this is what I'm doing right now but your stopping me from getting him? What's the use of your position and authority if you don't threaten her?! Mr. Lim, If I were you, I would have already used my position as CEO of a famous entertainment and kidnapped her then-"

Another smack was heard throughout the hollow hallway. The slap was harder and more painful than the first one, even a large hand print can be seen from the other cheeks of Belle.

Completely unaware of their surroundings, Lucas ordered for his attendant to put Belle in house arrest till the matter was settled. 

"Mr. Lim, Belle has been driven to her house."

"Keep an eye on her. If she tried to escape, brought her back inside the house and forcefully detain her. Increased the men to guard every nook and crook of the house, not even a single fly could get in and out of that damned house."

"Understood."

"Any news of Chan?"

"No, sir. After his successful escaped, all traces of his had disappeared but my men are still out there, trying to locate his tail."

"Damn, that brat."

Lucas punched the pillar as a small crack appeared with a train of blood trailing down the cement. He didn't mind the pain because his mind was elsewhere.

"Sir, how do we get Miss Lisa on our side?"

"For now, we lay low and watch out for any opportunities. We don't need to alarm the enemy, in case they get on our tails. Tell your men to be alert on both that brat's clues and that bastard Jeons' men."

"Yes, sir."

At the balcony beside the open French door, Jungkook stood silently as his men reported the news before blending in with the dark. A wine glass in his hand while the other was tucked in his trousers, he stood solemnly and in deep thought as the moon light casted her light down on him, making him look beautiful.

"Liam."

"Sire."

"Find her younger brother and protect him. Make sure you bring in a safe place."

"Understood."

Jungkook's body was covered with cold and had a killing intent as a chilling smile grazed his lips. His eyes held the coldness and evil as he made a plan on how to trap the man who kept making trouble on his woman's life.

" Kookie?"

A soft and melodic voice instantly made him retract his killing intent inside his body. A soft smile appeared on his face as he turn around.

Appearing behind him was Lisa as she wore his jacket, forbidding the cold from entering her body.

"It's cold. Why are you out here?"

Standing beside him, he grabbed her waist and kissed her red lips before gazing at her eyes that filled with stars. Lisa smiled as combed his soft hair.

"What's wrong?"

"One of my men found a clue to a person that I was looking for that might be connected to what happened to me years ago."

"Was that clue useful to you?"

"Yup."

Jungkook didn't want to tell the dark side of his past to her. He didn't want to ruin her pure heart  with evil. But if he doesn't have any choice, then he will choose to tell her the truth by himself without hiding any, that is, if she asks him questions about this past.

"I'm cold and tired and sleepy."

Lisa mumbled as she snuggled herself deep in his embraced. Jungkook wrapped his arms around her and shared his body heat to his girlfriend.

"Wanna go home?"

"Yes, please."

"Okay, I'll let the others know then I'll drive you home."

"Mhm..."

The couple left the balcony and strutted towards their friends who's teasing Jimin and Rose. Jungkook skillfully took a bottle of water, opened the cap, and slowly passed it to Lisa as she drank the liquid.

"I'm taking her home, does the girls have rides to get them home?"

"Oh, we're staying at her place tonight since tomorrow, we will be heading out to downtown to hang out."

"Can we join you?"

Jin inserted himself excitedly as Joy mentioned the plan for tomorrow.

"Of course, why not? The more, the merrier. Bamie, Lisa's older brother, will be joining us alongside with his wife and friends, so it will be a huge crowd."

"Sure! Just let us know the place and time!"

Hoseok and Jin excitedly got the info before ushering the girls to their cars so they can drive them home. 

The men drove the girls at Lisa's place, safe and sound before heading to their own place. As soon as Jungkook stepped inside the house, he was attacked by two females. His mother and his pregnant sister.

"You  didn't say that you were already dating her?!"

"When is the marriage and when can I met my sister-in-law?!"

Jungkook watched his mother and IU bombarded him with questions one after another.  He glanced at his dad but was ignored and pretended not seeing him as he conversed with his brother-in-law.

This lazy father Jungkook thoughtfully complained as he began his full explanation about his dating life.
