"I wanted to make this Gala a little bit more interesting than the ones before. Because honestly, the previous Galas were shit" everyone chuckled at the Overlord's words except for Jungkook who was still gaping.

"Tonight we will be welcoming a new mafia king. He has shown great potential for someone who's just gotten into the ranks. So, after his coronation, I have two announcements to make. But before that, give an applause to the newest addition, Jeon Jungkook from Korea" Taehyung announced in his booming voice. A light smirk dancing on his lips as everyone clapped and Jungkook started advancing forward.

No one could tell by Jungkook's expression just how surprised he was. His stoic face and manic eyes made anyone shiver who dared to look at them.

Once the raven was standing in front of Taehyung the blond crossed his legs, the slit on his dress exposing his luscious golden legs. Jungkook raked his dark eyes all over the latter, a small smirk barely gracing his chapped lips. Taehyung bit his lip at his husband's sexy gaze. Jungkook was such a tease with all his bulging muscles.

The blond playfully leaned his head against his palm and looked up at the raven with glittering mischievous eyes. "Kneel" the blond ordered.

Jungkook didn't even hesitate as he kneeled on one knee in front of his spouse. The raven knew better than to challenge the overlord in front of the entire underworld.

No matter how much dominant he was in their relationship Jungkook would never disrespect Taehyung's position as his superior. His only superior.

Because Satan forbid, Jungkook would never kneel down to anyone else.

Taehyung grinned cutely and traced the raven's jaw. "Handsome" he muttered to himself dreamily but the smirk that displayed onto Jungkook's face meant the latter heard it too.

"Only for you, my pretty" the raven winked. "Correct answer" Taehyung giggled and traced Jungkook's nose before the supplies he needed finally arrived.

"Move your shirt" Taehyung ordered once more, his face turning serious. Jungkook did as told and bared his neck for the latter. The raven felt Taehyung's hot breath against his exposed skin as the other leaned forward.

The sound of a machine whirring resonated around the hall as Jungkook's skin was permanently inked.

The process only took a few minutes before Taehyung was backing up. A satisfied smile stayed on the blond's face as he saw the perfect silhouette of a warped Python tattooed neatly onto the raven's neck. The symbol signifying the raven's higher rank.

The design was intricate and would've certainly taken more time should someone else had done it. But Taehyung had more experience having done this more than twice.

The blond pecked Jungkook's fresh new tattoo then kissed his lips. Jungkook didn't mind one bit.

Taehyung detached quickly and stood up along with the raven before facing the crowd. "The coronation has ended. Mr. Jeon is now ceremoniously a part of the higher league" Taehyung announced. Claps followed his words without missing a beat.

"Now, as for the two announcements..." The blond pauses to capture everyone's attention. "Since king Jeon's achievements are well known, I will be appointing him as my right hand" the blond announced. Instantly whispers spread across the hall. Jungkook himself was surprised.
