Chapter 2

Austin's P.O.V

The whole movie, Bentley had a pillow covering her face. Towards the end of the movie, I felt her lay her head down in the crook of my neck and when I looked over she was fast asleep. She looked so peaceful. Beautiful. I softly nudged her arm, trying to awaken her

"Bentley." I murmured. "It's time to get up."

Her eyelids fluttered open. "Did I fall asleep?" She asked, her cheeks flushed.

I nodded, "You have a little drool right there." I said with a smirk.

Her eyes widened in embarrassment, "I do?" She said trying to wipe it off.

"I'm just messing with you." I said laughing.

She frowned, "Jerk." She muttered and looked down at her iPhone. "I better get going." She said and stood up heading towards the door.

"Hey no goodbye?!" I say calling after her.

"Nope." She said popping the P like I tend to do.

I laughed and shook my head. When she was gone I headed upstairs to my room. I wish I had the guts to tell her how I felt, but I knew she didn't feel the same way, and if I told her it would ruin our friendship.

Man, you sound like a pussy.

Bentley's P.O.V

I came home to find a note on the counter for me.

Bentley, Your father and I went out to dinner with Austin's parents. We'll be back late. Love you!

After grabbing a water bottle from the fridge, I went upstairs to my room. I was in quite an energetic mood, so I grabbed my headphones plugging them into my iPhone and blasted one of my favorite songs, Beauty and a Beat by none other than Justin Bieber. I was no singer, but with no shame I began singing along at the top of my lungs:
