Bentley's P.O.V

"Can we talk?"

No. Didn't he get it? There was nothing left to talk about. If he was here to try and make amends with me, it was completely useless. We were over. And that was all there was to it. I should have known he would be here, he never failed to come to visit Noah's grave, after all they were best friends.

I took a deep breath, "About what?"

"Us."

Ouch.

"There's nothing left to talk about Austin." I snapped.

"Please Bentley, just hear me out, there's something I need to show you."

"And what is that?" I scoffed.

He remained silent, instead handing me a familiar looking iPhone. It was Sophia's. I looked at him confused, "You want to show me Sophia's iPhone? Wow, thanks Austin, that's fantastic."

He shook his head, "No. Unlock the phone, and go to the voice recording app." I looked at him annoyed, "Please Bentley, just do it."

"Fine." I muttered, and entered Sophia's pass code. The application was on the first page, and I softly tapped on the red icon. There was only one recording there, it was labeled, "Kaden". My eyes flashed to Austin, "What is this?"

"Just listen to it."

I nodded, and played the recording. All of a sudden Sophia's and Kaden's voice filled the quiet air. The conversation between the two of them played out. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

It was true.

Kaden did blackmail Samantha. Austin had been telling the truth. My body went into shock, and I felt numbness take over me. The iPhone slipped from my hand and tumbled into the grass. My eyes wandered to Austin, his expression was unreadable.

"Oh my god." I whispered. "Oh my god."

"Bentley-" He began, taking a step towards me.

But I stopped him. "Don't." I managed to say. "How long have you known about this?"

He sighed, "A few months."

"A few months." I repeated. "And you kept this from me?"

"Sophia showed it to me right after you told me you wanted nothing to do with me. I didn't want to show you Bentley, I'm so sorry."

I laughed an empty laugh, "Do you know the hell I've been through at school Austin? Do you realize how much easier things would have been if you and Sophia had showed me this sooner?"

"Bentley, please, I'm so sorry."

I shook my head in disbelief, "I can't do this right now."

I slung my purse over my right shoulder and brushed past Austin. I couldn't even think straight right now. There was only one thing on my mind right now. Revenge. Kaden was sure as hell not going to get away with this. As soon as I reached my car, I thrust the keys in the ignition, I had a clear image in my head of where I was going. School. I glanced down at the clock, it was 12:30. Perfect, it was lunch time. I zoomed down the freeway and arrived at school 15 minutes later. I parked my car and walked into the school. Kaden and his friends always sat in the same place at lunch, so I knew exactly where to go. Sure enough, there he was in the B Quad, surrounded by his stupid group of friends. He smiled mischievously as he saw me walking toward him.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Bentley Parker. How are you doing darling? How many times have you attempted to kill yourself today?"

His group of friends laughed amused. I felt my anger rising, but I knew better than to allow him to get the best of me. Instead I smiled sweetly at him, my eyes piercing his.
