I'm trying to write it so it's not just one enormous paragraph. Tell me which one you prefer please.😄

"Eager are we?" Omg Arion is too much.
"Why'd you come along I'm just going to go to the bathroom, and I know where it is" I say while speed walking towards the restroom door.
"Because I do what I want, I don't need an excuse to-" *ring ring ring*
He picks up his phone and his tone of voice changes drastically, it kinda scares me.
"Be at the dorms by 7pm"
he left. Just like that, no explanation! Wth, ughh. Whatever I wanted some alone time anyway.
(Time skip to after class)

"Hey Elli, how was ur first day?" Karla said while skipping up to me.
"It was good. I have Arion in my class though. But after he left everyone calmed down and I made lots of friends. I even got invited to a party tonight. Its barely the 1st day of school, they sure don't waste their time haha"
she looks worried after I mention the party. "What?" Did she not get invited
"N-nothing, you probably shouldn't go. Things get crazy a-and just don't" she seems to be hiding something it might not be obvious but Im a psychology major and I can see how she's trying her best to stop herself from saying something. What's the problem tho, don't most parties get crazy?
"Miss girl I need to relax and have fun because last 2 days have been... interesting"
"Yeah, just be careful don't let anyone too close ok. I have to go to my class. Byeee" her voice went down an octave, she sounds sad. Did something happen? I'm such a bad friend I should've asked. Welp she left already so no can do.

I walk to a vending machine and some guys stare at me with no discretion.
"Um do you need something? You're staring"
The fat guy in the middle smirks and walks closer to me. I fight the urge to step back. I can't show weakness.
"Yeah, I need that fine ass cake" he said while looking me up and down. I would be flattered but he gives me a weird vibe and his breath stinks.
"I can see you like cake" I say while pointing at his bulging stomach. His friends start laughing but he turns around and they stop. He pretends he didn't get it and steps closer. "Oh c'mon darling-" I cut him off and say
"1. You're too fucking close and you need a mint 2. Take a hint and leave me the hell alone because 3. Don't take it personally but I already despise you. Thanks"
Others around us start "oouuuu"ing and some give me a thumbs up or wink. It seems they don't like him either. I grab my gummies from the vending machine and walk off.
"Hey, I saw that. He's a pig and he always harasses the freshmen. Usually girls but you're very beautiful so he went for you too. Everyone hates him, so we all loved how you shut him down. Anyway I'm Ariana. Nice to meet ya"
OMG she's the pretty girl that sat on the throne.
"Hi, I'm Elliot. I knew he was weird. I saw you sitting on a throne yesterday, are you the queen?" Her face lights up and she says
"Yes, I'm the queen. The guy next to me, my boyfriend, is my jewel. A jewel is usually the royals lover. They get the same passes and rights of the queen/king. I'm sure you know King by now. I apologize if he has done anything to you he has a very bad temper. You're so adorable I don't know how anyone could ever want to hurt you"
Ok so I got the whole jewel thing but why'd she call me adorable. IM 18!! I'll just laugh it off "He hasn't hurt me but he can be quite intense some times. I mean I don't really know it's been 2 days. Does he have a jewel too?" I want to know more about him.
" No, never had one. He doesn't really do emotions, other than anger. If you ever need help you can come to me. I'm the closest anyone has ever been with him. Don't misunderstand though I barely know anything about him. our table of elites are one of the only people he hasn't threatened or beat"
"why are you telling me all this?" I wanna know more but this is fishy. She's the queen I doubt she would talk to me because of how I shut a guy down.
"I'm gonna be honest. I think something nearly impossible might occur and you're the cause. I'm the queen and I have to know everything that happens. This school belongs to me and you could make this place either be a beautiful green flourishing mountain or a fiery volcano. I don't expect you to understand but you will. I'll be seeing you soon." W h a t ? This is really trippy. What the hell was she talking about. I'm planer than plane Jane. She's about to be really disappointed.

(Time skip to 6:55)
Shit it's 6:55, Arion said I had to be at the dorms by 7. I took too long going over the whole campus. It's huge and has such pretty flowers and trees and a huge open field that's not for sports. I put my homework and pens into my backpack and leave the field.
Why is is so quiet? No ones here. Oh shit- their probably at the party I forgot about that! Damn it. Wait but Arion said- you know what fuck that it's my first party I'm not gonna miss it. Everyone here is connected because their parents are politicians that work together or business people. I need to make them like me for who I am and what better time to make friends than a party. I'll just go with the same clothes and when I get there I'll hide my backpack.
"Hey, your Eliot right? I'm Jackson. You going to the party?" A tall lean may I add handsome guy
"Yes that's me and I am, I was walking over now"
"I can take you if you'd like, you shouldn't wander around alone at this time of night you know"
I'm in a campus not the hood, why shouldn't I?. Whatever he's hot and he'll take to the party so I'll go with the flow
"Well at least I have you, haha. Let's go"

(Skip to when they get in front of a huge underground bunker trap door)
This is weird, a party underground?? I start to slow down and I feel Jackson's hand lightly push me forward.
"It's the first day and we are not allowed to party till a week has passed so we party in here till then so they don't find us or know what we're doing, c'mon don't wanna be late" Jackson says with a big smile that looks kinda creepy, I think he's more of a smirk kinda guy. Whatever his excuse makes sense.
"O-okay" he opens the trap door, extends his hand and says
"flowers first." I go down the ladder thing and when I get down I see everyone staring at me and all the freshmen are sitting on the floor waiting and what seems to be the leaders are sitting on sofa chairs or standing. I hear Jackson say
"Thorns second and poison last"
"what, thorns??"
"Oh nothing, take a seat" I hear some of the people standing and sitting on the chairs say he's finally here. They're probably talking about Jackson.
"Welcome, welcome. This your the first day at this prestigious battle field of a school. Now, let me just clarify, for those that don't know. This is a Jungle, nature is a serial killer. Money is worthless. What you gonna do when hard money won't solve it? The powerful rise and the weak dies."
