My Hero Academia Exchange AU

Chapter 8

Jiro's POV

Having a chill walk in the morning and we get attacked by villains I've never heard of.

What a way to start the exchange program.

Honestly I was really hoping to just have a chill time in Australia and listen to rock music and make friends with similar interests.

But whatever, I guess I came to learn as well. 

"Hello there, students," the bird villain says.

"What do you want?" Kiki asks. She sounds angry.

"Oh we don't want anything," he says in a way that is quite condescending. Oh well what am I expecting, they're villains. "We just came to say hello!"

Jesus why is this dude so sarcastic? Jump to the chase and let's beat the shit out of you.

"Oh really?" Kiki asks slowly. "Cause last time you came to say hello, one of your goons started a fire."

"Excuse me Kiki, that was Bazza. He is not some goon. He is my best friend and my right hand man. Do not insult him."

"This is the same guy that eats out of bins?"

"LET HIM LIVE HIS LIFE BAKA!"

"Calm down David, just get outta here before a fight starts."

Kiki is getting really annoyed. Does this happen often?

"Oh wouldn't that be a shame..." the Swooper says, who I'm assuming is called David. What a stupid name.

As soon as he says that, his goons all go after people in the class and attack. The guy the Swooper was calling Bazza comes after Adeline and I.

Adeline makes a cloud to shoo him off, and he shivers at the sudden downpour. 

"You fucking turds!" he yells at us.

Wow. Rude.

"OI WHAT ARE YOU DOING??"

Behind the villains, someone who I assume is a hero shows up. They have black hair tied in long pigtails. They are wearing all black, kind of like a vampire. Their skin is as white as paper. 

"Good to see you again boys," they say. Their voice is sinister and playful. 

"You? Again?" the Swooper asks. "Who even are you?"

"I've already told you. I am Phantom of the Achlys!"

"Yada yada. That's stupid."

"Just leave this class alone." 

Kiki jestures at us to leave and let Achlys deal with the villain mob. 

Adeline's POV 

The rest of the day is pretty uneventful after the attack of the Swooper and his gang. Apparently a heap of other pro heroes showed up and they fled the scene. 

What a bunch of cowards. 

"Hey who was that hero?" Kyoka asks me at lunchtime. 

"Oh them? They're a new hero. Hero name: Phantom of the Achlys!" I explain to her. "Their quirk is vampire, they are very similar to a vampire in many way. They can turn into a bat, get energy from blood, have really good senses, the list goes on! I can't wait to see what they do next!"

"Their quirk could be a villain quirk."

"And I'm thankful they didn't choose that path. That would be terrifying," Ivy chimes in.

"Do these attacks happen often?" Tsu asks.

"This is the second time they've gotten onto school grounds. Our security is shit," Ivy says. "But before we went onto boarding, we got attacked a few times on school trips."

"That's very similar to our situation at UA," Kyoka says. 

"I feel like they're related somehow. The attacks at Crystal River and UA," Tsu states thoughtfully. 

We live in strange times. Villains seem to attack all the time. I wonder if it is wise to have this exchange program. I don't think it is safe for the UA students. 

I'm worried for the safety of the school and the students. Especially the Japanese students. The school had better sort its shit out,  because we can not keep going like this.
