I was still trying to memorize my schedule. I was becoming so hungry! Hungry for Hayes!

I ate lunch at 12:15 and it was 11:57. I was becoming impatient. "18 minutes," I told myself, "I can make it."

My math teacher continued to explain to us that to solve "4!" You do 4x3x2x1. The more she explained the slower the time went by.

"RINGGG!!!" went the bell. It was finally time for lunch. I found my way to the commons (cafeteria) which was crowded. Finding Hayes in this wave of people was NOT going to be easy. I saw his blue eyes on the other side of the room and I darted in that direction.

I finally made it to the table and I smiled at Hayes. I looked for a seat at his table but there was no space for me. My smile then faded. The girl sitting two people down from Hayes laughed and said, "you really thought you were going to sit here?" and her friends laughed and agreed. I looked at Hayes and he didn't say anything.

I walked away. I didn't know what to do because I had no friends. The girl I ran with was also sitting at a full table so I just exited the commons.

I found the bathroom, plopped onto the nasty toilet seat, and softly cried. I didn't want to eat, and I most certainly NEVER wanted to come back to this school.
