(Y/n) stands with Kel and Sunny, yelling Basil's name and suddenly everyone hears Basil call for help with a shaky voice in the distance. Immediately Kel grabs (y/n)'s and Sunny's wrists and pulls them to their old hangout spot, they find Aubrey and her scooter gang trying to shush Basil. (Y/n) steps forward and calls out "What's happening here!?" Kel steps up behind (y/n) and hold onto their shoulder, they know (y/n) can get really aggressive sometimes. Aubrey and her gang jump and turn around, Kim glares at Kel and Sunny with a very angry look on her face. "Not you two again! God you guys are so annoying!!" Kim had yelled. (Y/n) walked up and elbowed Kim out of her way, they reached out their hand for Basil to grab, Aubrey's gang whispered to each other leaving Aubrey out, they all hop onto their scooter and leave Aubrey behind. "HEY! WHERE ARE YOU GUYS GOING!" Aubrey called out, The Maverick responded "AWAY FROM (Y/N)!" Causing Aubrey to curse them out under her breath. Aubrey grabs (y/n)'s shoulder and spins them around, Basil backed up to the edge of the dock in a state of panic. "Why are you here?! I though you didn't care about your friends! You always shut them out, you even shut me out! Why are you now care?! W..WHY ARE YOU CARING JUST NOW!" Aubrey started to tear up shoving away (y/n) "AUBREY YOU CAN ONLY BLAME YOURSELF, YOU LASHED OUT AND EVERYONE WHEN YOUR DAD LEFT YOU AND..AND WHEN....W-when Mari died." (Y/n) huffed. Aubrey backed up into Basil's arms in shock, she spun around to face Basil. Everyone seen the look Aubrey gave Basil.

Aubrey pushed Basil into the lake. Suddenly everyone started panicking and screaming, Aubrey only stood still with her arms out in the exact position she used to shove Basil into the lake. "BASIL!" (Y/n) immediately jumped into the lake while Kel started yelling at Aubrey, Sunny stood in disbelief, Basil drowning and (y/n) saving him reminded him to much of him and...Mari...Hero walked in on the scene. Aubrey caught a glimpse of Hero and shoved Kel away from her trying to make an attempt to leave. Hero grabbed onto Aubrey before she could run; that's when Hero seen (y/n) flopping themselves on the dock with Basil in their arms, (y/n) huffed and puffed while holding onto Basil's tired and cold body. Aubrey watched Hero leave her there motionless to give Basil CPR. "I'm so..sorry. I'm sorry sorry I'm sorry I'm so fucking sorry! I didn't mean to shove him I didn't..mean to..push him." Aubrey cried as she collapsed onto her knees. "I'm so sorry Basil! I'm so sorry Kel! I'm so sorry (y/n)! I'm so sorry Sunny! I'm so sorry Hero.." Aubrey repeated in a state of panic, she pushed him in range, no one understood how she felt. It was an accident, right? Everything here was an..accident. Aubrey stood up and started running, tears falling from her cheek, she even left her bat behind. (Y/n) chased after Aubrey, Aubrey could hear (y/n) following behind. Aubrey stopped running, she turned to (y/n) and collapsed into her arms. "I'm so sorry.." Aubrey said, she was sniffing and panting. (y/n) hugged Aubrey while whispering "it's okay Aubrey.. it's okay." (Y/n) sat Aubrey onto a bench and sat next to her, they waited for the others to walk by, (y/n) planted a reassuring kiss onto Aubrey's cheek as tears rolled down Aubrey's pale cheeks.
