When worlds collide

chapter 9

hi. it's been over a month since i've updated this story & since i've been active on social media AT ALL. like i said before, my mental health has been really bad & i needed a break. I still am needing a break but I missed writing. this might not be the best since i am not in the best mindset but i'm trying. also, this chapter is a tribute to my grandpa. Last week, he passed away due to the coronavirus. if it weren't for him, i wouldn't have taken writing as a passion. idk when i'll be active again because i've really lost passion & am so lost in life at the moment . I'm really mentally just not here anymore . Anyways, enough of this pity party. enjoy this chapter. <3

After yesterday's incident and you finally being able to process it all, you realize that you can't let Draco go back because now that could be a threat. Since you're the last one to wake up, you walk over to the table in the dorm and take a seat. Mal signals everyone to take a seat once she spots you.

You clear your throat while crossing your arms. "After yesterday's fiasco, I've decided that you can stay, Draco."

Draco looks shocked and smiles at you "Thank you, y/n-"

Everyone else looks at you so confused.

But before he can continue, you cut him off.
"Only because it would be the smartest thing to do.. wouldn't want you to go run your mouth if we sent you back, now wouldn't we ..?"

Everyone seems to get tense and Draco nods.

After that tense discussion, it's time for class.

"Don't blow our cover or you can go back to the isle." You spat at the VK's.

"Calm it, boss." Mal replies and you laugh.

Everyone grabs their things and heads out to their classes. Since everyone else has different schedules, you got lucky and have classes with Mal & Harry.

You three head to your classes for the day and then meet back at your dorm with the rest of everyone else.

Since you're still tense about everything, you've decided to ignore everyone.

While everyone is just doing their own thing, you all hear a knock on the door. You get up first and head to answer the door.

You open the door.
"Hey-" Ben says to you excitedly

"Hi." You reply.

"So- how was everyone's classes?" Ben asks

Everyone replies "Fine." at the same time, very moppy.

"Oh- Also! You're all invited to my coordination." Ben announces

"We're well aware mate" Harry says with a laugh.

Ben laughs and nods.
"Of course. Well, have a good rest of your day."

You roll your eyes and close the door.

You face everyone and they all look at you confused. You give them all a smirk and walk over to your spell book. You grab it and apparate out the room.

"What the hell is she up to?" Mal spats

"I don't know but it probably isn't good-" Evie adds.

Mal thinks for a second and slightly gasps.

"What?" Harry questions

"Love spell probably." Mal blurts out

Jay and Carlos chuckle at each-other.

"Such a classic thing for her to do." Evie says

"Wait what- a love spell?" Harry asks

Mal laughs.
"How else will we get this wand, huh?"

Harry shrugs.
"I guess there's more to y/n than I thought." He says under his breath.

You apparated outside of Ben's dorm door.

You knock on the door and as you hear his footsteps, you say the love spell under your breath.

Ben opens the door.
"Y/n-?" he says

His eyes sparkle as he looks into your eyes.

You softly laugh to yourself and smile at him.

"Bingo..." you whisper to yourself.

He keeps staring at you as he smiles.

"Hey benny boo.. do you know when the wand will be out?" You ask

He nods and says "Right at my coordination but will be taken out of the museum earlier by the fairy godmother, like always."

You nod and smile at him
"Thanks benny. See you later."

You turn around and apparate back to the dorm.

You apparate back into the dorm and everyone turns around, wondering where the hell you went.

"We're leaving earlier than i thought." you say to them with a smirk on your face.

"What are you on about?" Ron asks

"The fairy godmother takes the wand out WAYYY before the coordination happens, which means at the ball it will be present" You explained

Everyone smiles and looks around at each-other impressed.

"You really think we can pull this off?" Evie asks

"Hell yeah" you reply with a smile

"And how did you get this information?" Harry asks while clearing his throat.

You cross your arms.
"A love spell." You muttered

Harry rolls his eyes and shakes his head.
"Really?!"

You glare at him.
"I did what needed to be done.. You weren't doing anything." You spat at him

Draco howls under his breath but Jay hits him on the arm.

"I was thinking of a different approach- something that WOULDN'T get us caught!" Harry hissed.

"Oh i'm sorry- what the hell were YOU gonna come up with?" You hissed back

Ron gets in the middle of you two
"That's enough."

You both roll your eyes at him.

"Mate- we have to take risks or else we're not gonna make it out of here with what's needed." Ron explains

"Yeah yeah. whatever- Just don't expect me to fix shit when it goes wrong because you want to put a damn spell on someone!" Harry spats

"Isn't that what us wizards do?!" You shout at him

"She's got a point, scar head" Carlos adds

The VK's laugh.

"Yes but not like this y/n- it's like i don't even know you right now-" he says

"Well- i guess you don't then." you scoff.

Harry walks off and the room goes silent.

"I expect the rest of you not to be this uptight about the decisions that are going to be made if we're going to pull this shit off" You explained to them

Everyone nods and goes back to doing what they were doing.

"I can't wait for this to all be over so i can go back to the isle... I was a fool to ever think that the wizarding world was for me." You think to yourself.
