When worlds collide

It's been a couple days and everything has been chill. Classes were alright, the VK's actually seemed to enjoy being here and you've been ignoring Draco ever since you all got here and still haven't spoken to Harry. Everything seemed to be going alright and all according to plan until you received a letter.

You were the first one back at the dorm after classes ended so you grabbed the mail that was at the door. You didn't think much of it until you saw whom it was from.

The letter wasn't signed but you know that elegant hand writing from the one and the only Hermione Granger.

It's quite odd, you're thinking to yourself that she didn't sign the letter. It's so unlike her.

You start to read the letter with care.

Y/n, i don't have much time to write this nor sign this since they're checking everything and anything that gets sent out. Hogwarts is on lockdown. So much has happened in less than 24 hours. Rumor has it that supposedly it's you know who . But that's so unlikely- i think. I don't know. Just please be careful and don't get yourself caught up in more issues than you all already have. I will try to update you as soon as possible. I suggest you don't come back anytime soon.. it's complicated at the moment around here. Take care, all of you. I miss you and the boys. Tell them i said hello. <3

After reading her letter, you're in such disbelief. Every bad thought has gone to your mind of what is going to happen but you're trying your hardest to stay in denial but it's impossible .. you know what's coming.

You try to prepare yourself to tell the others but you're so stressed. It doesn't matter though, they all need to get ready. But first, the wand is the main priority.

Everyone finally returns to the dorm after their classes and you're waiting for them all seated in the middle of the dorm.

As Mal and Evie walk in, they notice your glare but that you look worried in a way.

"What's up?" Mal asks you and Evie stands next to her, waiting for you to reply.

"There's something I need to tell everyone" You reply as you hold up the letter and you clear your throat.

Evie and Mal nod as everyone else gathers around you.

You cross your arms.
"Everyone from what I am about to tell you, this cannot distract you from our plan that still needs to be done."

Everyone nods while looking concerned.

You hold up the letter.
"Hermione sent us a letter.. stating that Hogwarts is on lockdown and that rumor has it, that it has something to do with you know who.." you say

Everyone gasps and Harry looks at you with such concern.

"Sooo.. we leave, hell goes down and now you know who is back?" Ron says then adds "That's way too many coincidences all together."

"You're right Ronald and that's why when we do go back.. we have to be prepared." Harry adds

You sigh in relief that everyone isn't freaking out over this but then a certain thought goes to your mind.

"Would dad work with the dark lord-.. No. he wouldn't-.. that's a death sentence .. No." You think to yourself as you gulp.

"Guys.. this is war." You announced

The room goes silent and just looks at you.

"What do you mean?" Draco asks

"Don't act so surprised Malfoy.. You probably knew all along." You spat at him
