hii everyone. I know I have been very inactive with this story & it has been 4 months since I last updated this story but I am back. I would fill you all in but I don't feel like talking about my business on social media anymore so i would just like to firstly say.. Thank you so much for the support ever since I've been away. I see all your comments, votes & you all adding my story to your library's. you are all amazing!! now that it's summer, I will be more active with this story. but anyways.. It's been a week since you all stole the wand & have been hiding in your secret base in New York. Everyone has been waiting for your leadership and what the next move will be but you have no idea what you are going to do next. You have read your mother's spell book over and over again but have found nothing useful at the moment. You have everything on your shoulders worrying about Auradon finding you all, the professors from Hogwarts wondering where you all are because sooner or later the wizards will find out what happened at the coordination.

You're sitting at the table while going over your mother's spell book once again while twirling your wand with your fingers.

Mal takes a seat across from you with Draco.

You look up and roll your eyes.
"Can I help you two?" you ask

"What's our next move?" Mal asks
"We can't just sit around forever!" she exclaims

Draco clears his throat while looking to Carlos and Jay for some assistance but they blow him off and let him handle it.

You sigh. "I don't know, okay?"

"We're running out of time, y/n!" Mal scoffs

"I'm bloody fucking aware Mal." You shout back "But if it weren't for you four trying to act like God's.. We wouldn't be in this situation right now" You add

The VK's take offense to your comment and just scoff.

"Don't even go there Y/n." Mal replies

You laugh
"Tell me.. The fuck were you all trying to do anyways?"

The VK's stay silent and Mal rolls her eyes.

"What did you mean, God's?" Harry interrupts

You scoff "Who just goes on a walk and Hades gets out? They were doing something they weren't supposed to. I wasn't going to bring it up because what does it matter.. but if it weren't for them.. we wouldn't be in this damn mess to begin with."

"Or.. maybe this was all meant to happen." Mal says

"Everything happens for a reason.." Evie adds

You roll your eyes. They're using your own words against you from when you were kids.

"Are you both trying to say this is a sign about something?" Harry replies jokingly

Mal looks at you while she tilts her head with a small smile and you turn your head away from her.

"What was that?" Evie lifts her eyebrow & asks

You clear your throat and Mal shrugs.

"I think it's a sign that not everything is what it seems.." Mal replies

"The hell is that supposed to mean?" Ron jumps in and Harry looks at you, waiting for an answer.

"Nothing." You say, trying to end the conversation as soon as possible.
