   "What do you mean he's missing?"

  Dream wanted to rip his hair out of frustration as he heard the news come out of Punz' mouth.

  "I don't know where he went, but I swear, he was there last night." Punz promised.

  "Goddamn it, I should've stayed one more night. Okay, I want every outside perimeter of L'manberg searched. I want every house, building, anything sweeped. I want Tommy here alive." Dream ordered.

  Punz and the others nodded before running off.

  Dream sighed frustratedly, sitting down in one of the chairs. Tommy was out of where he was supposed to be. But, yet again, it was kinda his fault.

  No. Tommy was taking his punishment on Tubbo's orders. He was only doing his job.

  "Tommy escaped?"

  The blonde looked up to see his boyfriend once again. He nods his head as he looked down again.

  "I don't understand, he was just there yesterday."

  The fox walked over and sat down next to him. "Did you say anything to him that caused him to run off?"

  "The only thing I asked him to do was to give his stuff to me after a certain period of time. Then I turn around and find out he has a secret storage area with everything I told him to get rid of."

  Fundy nods in understanding. He felt guilty for knowing where Tommy was, but he didn't want to come off as an accomplice.

  "I'll help you find him."

  The speedrunner looked over at him with a glance. A glance of  'Are you sure? This is a stressful job'.

  "I'm sure." Fundy knew the answer to the upcoming question.

  "Okay, c'mon." Dream took the fox's hand and lead him outside.

  "Where we going?"

  "To have a chat with Techno."

   The two boys walked through the snow. Fundy felt himself getting closer to Dream to preserve warmth.

  The pair made it to the doorstep and Dream knocked on the door gently.

Fundy looked from the corner of his eye and he could've sworn he saw Tommy for a split second. Shaking it off as hallucination due to the cold, the fox continued to wait.

  The door opened, revealing Techno.

  "Hello Dream."

  "Hello Techno. Can we come in? J need to have a word with you."

  "Of course."

  The fox was relieved to be inside. He wasn't used to the winter biomes just yet, and he was grateful to get some warmth.

  "So, what exactly do I owe your pleasure?" Techno asked.

  "I was wondering if you've seen Tommy anywhere.." Dream looked around, "I know that you and Tommy have been slowly getting closer.. and recently, Tommy has escaped exile. So, you are my main suspect."

  "This isn't a police case, Dream. You're not a police officer. L'manberg has no police force." Techno sighed, "No, I haven't seen Tommy. If I saw him, I'd turn him in becuase I don't want anything to do with him."

   "Mhm.. then I guess you wouldn't mind if I looked around?"

  Looked around? Fundy knitted his eyebrows together. Shrugging, he looked out the window. 

  "You wouldn't find anything, Dream. Like I said: I left L'manberg for a reason, and that reason was to leave this alone. I swear up and down that Tommy is not here. Now please, I have renovations to make." Techno tried to keep his cool.

  "Alright then, but Techno.. remember the story of theseus.. he got pushed off the cliff by the one who betrayed him." Dream looked over at Fundy for a moment, "C'mon love."

  Fundy was hesitant to leave back into the cold, but, he respected Techno's rules. He nods and walked outside. A wash of guilt went over him. He knew Tommy was here..

  He was lying to his own boyfriend.
